"We used quality 1st on two occasions in the past year to address water in the basement of our brownstone. They first addressed the problem from the crawlspace - installed a sump pump, water guard trench, and cleanspace wall system (they also added support to the ceiling, which is the floor of a kitchen above). They then returned to address water coming in from the main basement area - we worked together on a reasonable approach that included adding a 2nd sump pump, a water guard trench and cleanspace wall system only where needed. This required a lot of coordination and communication with our plumber as well - all went smoothly, work was performed and cleaned up professionally. So far, so good! I am in construction myself and I reviewed their approach with other professionals including an engineer, and I have a lot of confidence in their products, their pricing, and their work."

"Basement Gurus arrived to discuss our basement water issue. Dan patiently went over everything and listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. They were impressive in the system they followed and how much work they performed each day and were respectful of us and our property. By the end of the job everything was back in place. We wish the expense wasn't necessary, but felt the price was worth it due to the difficulty, the amount, and the quality of the work. We highly recommend Basement Gurus!!"

"It went like clock work.  Friday they came and did the framing, Monday they poured the cement and did the stamping, Tuesday they did the sawing and protective coat.  They worked in unison very well - it was fun to watch.  They had great suggestions as to the type of stamp and colors to use - they are good at what they do.  I highly reccomend this company and am glad I went with stamped concrete over pavers.
