"I can't believe how smoothly this repair went! Everyone at Falcone--the schedulers who arranged our estimate visit and the repair work, the foundation experts who repaired the porch, the finance people who explained the estimate and our final bill--every single one of them was helpful, prompt, courteous, and great at their jobs. The county inspector who reviewed the porch repair even made a point of telling us what high quality work the Falcone people had done for us! I would definitely call them again! If you're interested in our specific details, this repair was crucial to maintaining our house's structural integrity; since the screened-in porch is attached to the house, if it went down the hill, so would the back wall of the house! The foundation had cracked away from the main house and the slab was cracked and sliding apart at different angles. The men from Falcone excavated, cleaned, and prepped the job site, including washing the bottom section of the slab to promote bonding when the new concrete was poured. Then they poured a porch perimeter slab wall under the slab to stabilize the foundation. In addition, they installed a backer rod and applied concrete sealant to re-connect the porch foundation to house and prevent additional damage."

"They did a great job, I asked for the slightest slope on my patio after the previous contractor really messed up. They came in and busted up, removed old pad, releveled, graded and formed a 30x16 new pad...8in thick at the edge. We plan to put a screened in porch up at some point, they put the footers in for that as well. Mark, the landscape and lighting designer, walked the property with me and was full of ideas. He didn't draw up any sketches -- he said that just cost more money -- but that was OK with me since he gave me a good idea of what he was thinking. We went back and forth on email and the phone several times to nail down the design and price. Mark was really helpful and very responsive -- a seasoned landscaper who knows his stuff. The crew who did the work was led by Jon, the owner, and they were all pleasant and professional. Jon and Mark both took time to explain things to me about what they were doing and how to maintain it since lawn and garden care is not among my favorite things to do. The work included tilling up my current lawn and laying new sod, creating and planting new beds, tearing up and replanting old beds, laying pavers as a deck landing, removing several small trees, and general yard cleanup in my backyard (mostly natural area). The job took about 2 1/2 days. I would definitely hire Hutchins Landscaping again. It was a very positive experience and I'm very pleased with the result."

"Mr Cortez pushes himself to make sure the job turns out to be 1st class. Other companies said that I did not need a trench around my foundation ($2500) but he insisted I did. During a hard rain after he had completed the trench drain he showed me where the water was coming in. It was a lot of water. If the other companies had did the job it would have ruined all the work, and been a waist of money. His crew has works from 8 to 5 each day, and I mean work.He is also very kind and trustworthy. His finished project is beautiful."

We later had the crawl space encapsulated, and that was much better, because it protected the crawl space from animals and all that stuff. They took care of the water problem."
