"George came out and looked at the area in my yard that had experienced a great deal of ponding and flooding. I was initially asking for a quote on grading the yard. After he measured the area with his equipment, he informed me that he could put in a drain tile that would extend from a low spot in our side yard to the front yard where it would drain. He indicated that this should solve the problem and would be a more cost efficient way to handle our particular situation.
It took a couple of weeks after George came out for us to coordinate our schedules, but once he came out he worked all day (along with his assistant) and finished the job. He ran into some issues with an old tree stump and our irrigation system. This slowed down the project a little, but he persevered and was able to complete it in time. The stump in the yard that neither of us was aware of, took a great deal of his time to chop in order to get the proper level for drainage. He kept up until he had it right.
The drain seems to be working well, and the yard is finally starting to dry up.

"Earth-Wood Arts did a great job of correcting the grade of my backyard, prior to laying pavers, so water now drains away from my house.  My flower bed, that once turned into a pond, sometime for days after a heavy rain, quickly drains after it rains.  The pavers look great - just like the picture I was shown of the pavers I selected.  There was some extra work required (building walls around 2 crawl space vents) that, thankfully, didn't add any cost to the project for me.  And, I am paying Earth-Wood Arts in 5 payments over the next 5 months, which really helps me financially.  I would definitely use Earth-Wood Arts again.
