This resulted in a plumbing bill of $975 to flush my entire house and remove the sediment. I still need to replace an entire shower plate (Smitty plate) that will likely cost another $500. It is true that my filter was installed wrong to begin with, but that’s the way it was when I bought the house. Just the same, I expect a professional to check this because I am not the expert."
