"This was a complex project with a lot of moving parts.
Several thousand square feet of patio, complicated pool coping and a significant amount of reconstruction. The land I gave Carl to work with was ugly and unstable.
I give Carl an A for time and price because of the value he brings to the table. Not because he's the cheapest or the fastest sprinter.
Some significant challenges materialized over the course of the job that added time and cost to the project. The great thing is Carl rolled with the punches, reacted fast, didn't compromise quality, and never asked for more money.
This was not an easy piece of land to work with. A 40 year old pool patio on shaky foundations.
His foreman/mason Eddie is the only person I trust to do anymore work on my hardscape/landscape. His ability, attention to detail and work ethic is unquestionable.

"Paul is a professional. He was always on time when we had scheduled meetings. He was efficient in accomplishing the tasks we hired him to do, He graded and seeded our back yard and side yard that had been particualrly hard to grow grass in. It has been two weeks since he did the work and the grass is growing in nicely. He put a really lovely garden in next to the house. Getting decent plantings in the fall is a trick but he found some very nice plants. He also built a small wall and step which fits in with our naturalistic back yard. "It was not a great experience. One of their product tended to have died and yet it cost me quite a bit to have it installed. I only used them to do the initial landscaping because they were partners with the developer so I have not used their services since but I do know that other neighbors of mine who have used their services after I moved in they have the same experience where things that were planted died not long after. Best part was they worked with me on designing a landscaping solution that my needs as far as maintenance and cost but I would say the worse part was just the quality of the landscaping that they installed, it just seemed very susceptible to either disease or dying."
