"Arizona Rug Co. recently completed cleaning and restoring our rugs for us and we could not be more impressed with the quality of their work. The older and larger of the rugs no longer looks 42 years old. I recommend, as a designer, taking care of quality rugs in order to enjoy them fully. It also needs to be said that this company has a varied selection of rugs available from the well stocked showrooms, both in Tempe and Scottsdale, with knowledgeable sales staff."

"David from Cool Heat Mechanical was very professional. He explained what type of furnace would be recommended and allow us to make our decision. He guided us through the process and when the workers showed up they were professional, show up untime and leave the location clean . My furnace is looking amazing.Thank you 🙏🏾 Highly recommended."

"Hiring Williams & Assoc. has turned out to be one of the best decisions Iâ ve ever made! From the very start, this experience was excellent! Bruce and his team were professional, kind, and helpful when describing the system we purchased and answering the hundred questions we had along the way. Their attention to detail and all of the little extras one wouldnâ t even expect to receive were provided as if it were second nature to them. And the team worked tirelessly, without stopping until the job was finished. We were happy to have them in our home. These are genuinely good people. Our old boiler was past the point of being dangerous. Smoke filled the basement every time it came on. Anyone could see that we were in an emergency position and had no choice but to replace the old system. Some companies Iâ ve dealt with in the past would have taken advantage of our situation. But not Williams! The price for our new high efficiency heating system was very â veryâ reasonable. Due to our situation, the work was started and completed almost immediately and the service was excellent! My wife and I highly recommend Williams & Associates."

"I have the Total Mechanical Systems Total Comfort plan. It is wonderful I purchased the Comfort Plan when we installed our HVAC System. This is a great service plan for a reasonable rate. You get check ups on your HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.,You also have access to repair services, electricians, and plumbers at a discounted rate. Great overall plan to maintain your home or condo. Recently I had my annual Furnace/HVAC check up. The technician, Marquez, was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Marquez really knew his stuff and explained to me how my furnace works and what the telltale signs are that I might need repairs. Fortunately I have not needed any repairs thanks to their great maintenance plan!"

"Installation of 2 ceiling fans including all wiring to circuit breaker. Five plus stars for this company! Only one to return my phone call for an estimate. Very knowledgeable and professional. I had 3 estimates and he was the most resonable. His men took every precaution to avoid dirt and even vaccumed afterward. Great crew, very concientious! Wouldn't hesitate to use again and would refer my friends and family to him. Thanks for the recommendation!"

Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.
Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.
With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.
The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.
Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.
An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.
An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
