"Before he changed the ice maker unit that wasn't working, he shut off power to the refrigerator so the system would reset. He took info needed so if it didn't work when we turned power back on, he could order part & left. It only started working a good 7 hours after he left. He could have just changed the part, but helped us save money. He was very cordial & very prompt. I would give 6 stars if I could."

"When I was looking for a new high efficiency furnace, I received several quotes and Sure Temp was almost $800 cheaper than any other Carrier dealer. They were on time and did a neat and effective job of installing the furnace. They made sure that everything was clean and all of the paperwork was simple. "Dave was very professional. Called to request if he could come earlier than scheduled appt when I described my problem. His quick comprehension and resolution of my gas water heater problem (exhaust ducting had melted due to excessive heat) probably saved everyone's life in the house from carbon monoxide poisoning. One thing though, if you are entitled to a discount at a home improvement center, mine was military at Lowe's, let him know in advance. You will have to go to the center and purchase the supplies to get the discount."

"Hired Johnny B Goode to install mini split heat pump to a new construction. Unit is up and running. John had to make a couple trips in order to make this install happen with the other parts of the home construction. He was good about collaborating with the other contractors and at the end all came together nicely. Saved a few hundred dollars going this route. I would recommend Johnny B Goode Heating."

"I was having a problem with MS Office not responding and other files being very, very slow to open. Jim started looking for the cause right away. He did numerous checks for viruses, malware, and various other things that can go wrong. He vigorously pursued a resolution pretty steadily for two days before determining it was a malfunctioning external backup system that was causing the problem. With that finding, he promptly got my computer running smoothly and very fast again. He made two trips to my house; on the first one, he had to cross a sheet of ice in my driveway. Jim is a very capable and experienced computer analyst that will get after your problem because he fully understands the importance of, and the need to have a working computer in the house.

"There were two crews working at the same time.  The insulation crew headed by Jim worked outside for three days in the extreme heat, the 2nd day hitting a temp of 101.  They insulated  inside and out and you would never know they were here.  They cleaned up every last scrap and vacuumed all the residue.  They were efficient, professional and  personable to work with.    The HVAC crew, Mike and Frank had to remove my cast iron furnace that the previous owners had set in cement; (the guys said it looked like the furnace was put in and the house was built around it!)  It was quite a job getting that out of my basement but, they did it!. They were also very professional, friendly and answered all my questions with courtesey and information I could understand.  They even programmed my thermostat and explained how I could change it if needed.    I now have a high efficiency heating and air con system that should decrease my energy bills to a third of what I was paying and I won't have to freeze this winter.    I would highly recommend Green Homes and will call on them again when I am ready to replace my old windows."
