"It went exceptionally well! Marc was able accommodate us within an hour of our call to him.  He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He was very thorough in his diagnosis of the problem, and  ordered the necessary parts immediately. Once the parts came in the next morning, he phoned to check our availability and was able to  come back and install the parts that very morning. Upon completion, prior to leaving, he ran a test of the system to assure that it was working properly.  Marc was even conscientious enough to clean up the area before he left.  His price on parts and labor were fair within industry standards. "A year ago they responded to an SOS related to a full A/C failure. They were prompt and professional. It took several days, in the heat of the summer, till they were able to fix it, but they had to get a part from the west coast so we sweated through the ordeal. While they were working on replacing the main board, I also engaged them to clean the system. I thought the charge was high ($1000), but needed it done. A year later, one of the A/C mini-split heads stopped working. They came the next day. I paid $200 for them to trouble shoot it, which took approximately 20 minutes. (Subsequently another A/C service charged me only $95 to trouble shoot!) They said they would order the part and get back to me. After I week, I had not heard from them. When I called they said they could get the part but it would take 4-6 weeks. I said okay. What could I say. I left it in their trustworthy hands. After 6 weeks I heard nothing from them. I called. I left 4 messages, which were all unreturned. On the 5th try, someone answered. He said he couldn't get the part. Would have been nice to know that 5 weeks ago. Still puzzled why they didn't communicate with me and thus the low review. I have to say that I thought they were really nice people, but obviously my business wasn't that important to them. So be it. But a little courtesy and honesty would go a long way when servicing a small community like Key West. Because of the later incident, I wanted to give them an F, but that wouldn't be fair. If you're lucky, have deep pockets, and the problem isn't complicated, they are okay. Just be aware. I thought I had actually found a reliable service, but that wasn't the case."

"I recently installed a Bose speaker system and the connections were a rats nest of wires and it needed to be balanced. Seth came and rewired the system and balanced the system, including the surround sound speakers in the ceiling. I had two extra Bose speakers that I wanted to use in my bedroom, so Seth brought a used Denon receiver and also provided a 15 foot HDMI cable that we needed for the set up. Seth is great to work with and he completed whole setup in the two hour time frame. I was so lucky to find him on the Angie's List.

"I was having a problem with MS Office not responding and other files being very, very slow to open. Jim started looking for the cause right away. He did numerous checks for viruses, malware, and various other things that can go wrong. He vigorously pursued a resolution pretty steadily for two days before determining it was a malfunctioning external backup system that was causing the problem. With that finding, he promptly got my computer running smoothly and very fast again. He made two trips to my house; on the first one, he had to cross a sheet of ice in my driveway. Jim is a very capable and experienced computer analyst that will get after your problem because he fully understands the importance of, and the need to have a working computer in the house.

"No work was performed. Angie's List has been unable to remove this from my account and I'm tired of the popups. The service coupon was offered from a vendor on the West Coast to me in VA. The company name is exactly as one listed in VA so I errantly purchased the coupon. Angie's List refunded the money but multiple attempts to remove this aborted service scheduling have failed. This is my attempt at removing it from the system and quit nagging me EVERY time I log in to write a review.

"Our old unit quit working and the cost to repair was not worth reviving the antique we had.  We contacted Keys Mechanical and asked for a quote to replace the compressor unit and Jedi one of the principals informed us he would be right over to look at the situation.  He showed up an hour later and after a review of the equipment and layout returned to his office.  He called us in about an hour with the quote for a system to match the manufacturer of the air handler unit for system optimization, something the other vendors did not do.  The price was competitive with the other quotes and we gave him the job especially since he said he could get the new unit and install it the next day.  His crew showed up the next morning for installation.  All members of the crew were very professional and took care to not damage any part of the condo.  To complicate matters movers were also unloading furniture and personal belongings to the condo at the same time and were able to avoid any interference with the moving crew.  The job was completed in a workmanlike manner and to our satisfaction, especially when the AC was working again!
