"Our heat stopped working, of course right when it's the coldest time of the year. We contacted Aire Serv, and they were fantastic to work with. They initially thought it was our thermostat, but within two weeks, the furnace as a whole quit working. They ended up replacing our furnace and crediting the cost of the thermostat. Our old furnace was past it's recommended age. It turned out to be tough to remove, as it was the original furnace. We suspect it was built before the frame surrounding it. It required cutting into the ceiling drywall, but it was obvious their staff has encountered this in the past, and they showed their experience in dealing with such a difficult situation. You can tell that this is a company devoted to striving for excellent customer service. They answered all questions/concerns we had and made special accomodations to address our issues quickly. They care about the details like wearing booties, covering carpets/furniture, making sure not to do any damage, and performing full cleanup when the work was done. Their technical staff was great to work with, including Jaz, Charlie, Julian and Jiame (sp?). Also, the office staff of Shelly and Ryan also displayed wonderful customer service. Special kudos to Charlie who took the time to answer any questions or concerns we had about the new furnace and removing the old one. We would recommend this company to others for their Cooling/Heating needs. If you are the type of person that likes to do annual maintenance checks, I would also recommend asking about their yearly plans which includes discounts for services, free checkups, and priority scheduling."

"Bond Heating and AC checked out the heater and determined it was in good working order at the time of the inspection. Mr. Bond also noticed an AC drain pipe that had cracked and fallen aside. He and his assistant fixed it on the spot without any additional charge. This solved a chronic problem that had become bothersome. That is, there had been a sidestream of ac drain water over the roof that had become quite annoying.

"On a hot Saturday in July the upstairs air conditioning failed.  Inspection revealed a inoperative fan motor in the split system compressor unit.  After consulting Angie's List I called Bishop Air Service and scheduled same-day service.  The service technician arrived at the scheduled time, inspected the unit and confirmed my diagnosis.  He went to his truck and got the necessary repair parts and soon had them installed.  Upon testing, he determined that the refrigerant charge was low, and added the necessary refrigerant.
Although fan motors are a bit expensive, I thought the total charges were quite reasonable and was very well pleased in all respects.

"I had to wait until Monday to call other companies for estimates. ACLV sent Mike out the next day to check out the unit and give me an estimate. ACLV carried several brands, including Goodman and their price was significantly lower than the other three estimates. I had spent the weekend researching brands and preferred Goodman due to the ratings. ACLV scheduled me for the next day to install a 4 ton 14 SEER Goodman split system heat pump with a ASPT Air Handler. They pulled out the old unit and air handler and installed the new unit and air handler. It was a very professional and clean installation. The new air handler was smaller than the almost 50 year old air handler so it required new duct work to connect to the house ducts. They also installed a new 3/4" plywood base, plumbing, and wiring for the air handler. ACLV also raised the outside heat pump base four inches and installed a new breaker box on the outside wall. Just a follow up: My other AC unit quit cooling two weeks later. I called ACLV expecting to need another new AC unit. Their repairman arrived the next day to check out the problem. I was embarrassed as the problem turned out to be clogged filters. I had replaced the filters less than three months earlier. However I had some outside construction taking place that raised a lot of dust plus I got two new dogs. It could have been that I had just bought a new AC from them and was ready to buy the next one from them if needed, but ACLV only charged me $25 for the service call. I have two other old AC units and when they fail, I will be calling ACLV to replacement them."

"After using this company to replace my rooftop heating/AC unit last year, I started recently having issues with my thermostat not working correctly. Since they had provided good service the last time I immediately thought of contacting them first. I called on Wednesday, and Randy was able to schedule a tech to come out this Saturday, and gave me only a 2 hour window. The tech (John) showed up within the scheduled time and was able to replace my thermostat in an expedient manner. He was very polite and professional. I will definitely continue to use this company in the future, and highly recommend them.
