"Our oil burner began emitting Carbon monoxide (CO) early one morning and stopped working. We called several repair services and no one called us back in a timely manner. We found AB Castello's on Angie's List, completed the Angie's List form and Desmond from AB Castellos called us immediately. Robert arrived less than an hour later. The first thing he did when he arrived was check for CO emissions. He then determined that our 16 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Later that day we received an estimate via email, had all of our questions answered on the phone, and arrived the next morning prepared to remove and replace our furnace. Desmond and Robert worked all day, into the evening, in order to install the new furnace. They were determined not to leave us one more night without heat. They were very polite, pleasant, neat and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company should you need service of any kind. Their response time was better than almost any other contractor we have hired, and their work excellent. They also cleaned up very well before leaving our home, and were very careful as they carried equipment in and out of our house. I cannot speak highly enough of them"

"The furnace in my rental property stopped working a week ago. Hired a contractor thru homeadvisor to take a look. Was told cracked heat exchanger and system needed replacing along with the outside AC unit. Got a quote from the contractor but decided to use homeadvisor again for more estimates. "I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. "They installed AC in our 1923 house back in 2006 and our AC bills are lower than our heat! Excellent courteous clean work. This past spring the fan motor for this system died and because of it’s design was an expensive repair but again the work was done fast and clean. Highly recommended!"

"Company came back to the house and re-measured and re-sized the radiators and decided that the new boiler needed to be replaced with a larger capacity boiler (see previous review of 1/25/18). Another new boiler was installed (for no additional charge) and we now have heat in all areas of the house. The two men who came to do the re-installation did a good job with the installation and made sure all radiators were getting hot with new boiler. The one room that was getting very little heat with the first new boiler was up to 69 degrees on the first morning after the re-install, so this is a big improvement. Our house may be very difficult to accurately size, but the final end result was good. In addition, everyone that we dealt with during this whole process (since October) was very polite, from the technicians who came to the house, and the office staff – who were especially helpful."

"I would highly rate the company. My furnace was working, so I hired another company to diagnose it. The service person came and removed the motor. He stated that the motor needs to be replaced and will cost me $1500 to do so. Since my furnace is old, it is better I replace it and will cost me $5000 for a new furnace. He charged me $170 for coming and left the motor outside the furnace stating since it is not working, there is no point putting it back. So, I called 5-6 other companies for a quote and everybody gave me the same ball park number. I had got a promotional offer from Advanced Professional, so I wanted to give them a try. From the very first call, Advanced Professional was truly professional. Valentina was extremely courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. Joey was the technician that came over. He tested the motor and stated that there is nothing wrong with it. It is the capacitor that is not working. He replaced the capacitor and placed the motor back to the furnace and my furnace was working. It is now a week since I called Advanced Professional and I am very happy with their services. I gave a C to Punctuality. But now I can understand why they are in so much demand. I have saved their number and would definitely call them again if I need to."

"My first and second floors were on one heating/cooling zone. The second floor was always cold. I wanted to modify the ducts in a minor way to get more air up there, but Gerson convinced me that adding a new zone with its own thermostat and separate ducts and dampers in the basement made more sense. I liked his reasoning, and, 2 days later, he and his guys showed up and did the work. They were extremely responsive, professional, and careful. The new system solved the problem. I did not take the usual steps of getting competitive bids because the reviews for MDL were so positive. Now I concur. I can't say whether the price I paid was competitive, but I paid it cheerfully."
