I thought about it and I know BGE will come in a flash to fix something, pretty much. We didn't ask anybody else; we just went with them. I just thought it would work for us. We have an older house. I think our furnace was, like, 60 years old, so it was time. What we got was, like, a five year (maintenance) if anything goes wrong with the air conditioner and the furnace. After that is a $14.50 a month maintenance fee for the air conditioner, furnace and the tie-in to the water heater for as long as you want to keep it. They were great. To do the work they were here about 7:30, came in about 8 and left about 3 -- 7 hours. There were about 8 people here. They had a plumber, a chimney sweep guy to clean out the chimney -- there were about 8 different guys here. I think the county still has to come out. Two were not from BGE, though -- the plumber and the chimney sweep.

"For a while, I was really always it seems that anytime I needed something, I couldn't get it timely. The first they would ask, for instance, when my air conditioning went out I had them and it's well have you maintained it. The application being that if you couldn't produce maintenance records they weren't going to do it. So on air conditioner was unhappy. They shocked me . I had a recent leak inside the loft. They sent somebody out here. They really did a good job on it. They were timely. A leak within the draining system inside the wall, I was getting water damage down the wall. They sent a plumber out. He opened up the wall and replaced the piping in there and then patched the wall back up. They don't do finish work on their patch up but hey do the patch. He was a pretty sharp young man. He was responsive. He came and he needed some things. he went and got them. He came right back. That was one that I was wondering if they were even going to do caus they'd been going on for a while. It was a drainage pipe in the wall. It was a manufacturing defect that had probably leaked from some early years of the home and got progressively worse until I could hear it. Actually when I would turn on the water on a certain faucet I could hear it drip down onto a fireplace. That's how I knew what it was. They don't do the finish. You do the finish. They do the patch. The only reason I kept them was because they showed me a different face with that repair. Before it seemed like everything you wanted they had a reason not to do it."
