"Originally, the replacement was scheduled to be on Monday. Due to some warehouse issues, Robert let us know know that it was delayed to the next and he apologized for that. Being understanding, Robert said that he would be here the very next day at the same time. Robert Harrison and Daniel Dejesus were punctual, got the job done, and answered any questions we had on the matter. "He did a good job installing the weather striping around the doors.  One door wasn't in the frame correctly and he fixed that.
They sent someone by to check on his work.  That guy talked to us about the air tightness of our home, which is great.  He kept trying to find something wrong.  It is a newer home.  He mentioned we should put energy film on one window.  I looked the film up online and found it at Home Depot.  He told us that they had to do it because "if one speck of dust is on the film" it will compromise the integrity.  One speck of dust? This isn't an ER or clean room.  He was really pushing to try and sell something else.
Because of the salesman that came 'to make sure the door work was correct' is why we won't use this company again.

I was very comfortable with Fast right from the original quote to final cleanup. The quote was exactly what I was charged in the end. The only addition was to reroute plumbing to accommodate the new larger airhandler and to install a shutoff inside my unit as there was no shutoff inside at all. They had the crane booked and everything went exactly as planned right to the installation of the new thermostat. I was then given the lowdown on how everything worked. This was all accomplished in the 10 days we were down at the condo-from quote to final installation. I had done all the legwork from Canada and lined up the contractors to give me a quote and have the install done when I was there.

I also have a maintenance contract for all my appliances, electrical, plumbing and the A/C through Fast and they are very responsive when I have issues to be fixed for my tenants-I live in Canada so need someone reliable down there.

"From the initial phone call to the office to the completion of the installation of my new heat pump, Ten Plus Service, was courteous, knowledgeable ( I couldn't get over how much Judy, the office manager knew - more than many repair people who have come to my home previously) and efficient.  Not only did they not waste my time, but more importantly they didn't waste my money.
They could have easily pushed for the repairs, so that it was done with them.  Instead they advised me what the best course to take would be, and they had no guarantees I would purchase the heat pump from them.

While they were on site, they also noticed my Navigator wasn't working correctly, and told me what the problem probably was, but as their rates were higher than many of the local pool stores, it would make more sense for me to take the cleaner locally for repairs, instead of paying them to fix it.

I did learn an important lesson from them -- in the future when I am going to buy an appliance or an automobile, I am going to ask the service department which units/cars they have performed the most repairs performed on, so I can be aware of potential future problems BEFORE I make the purchase.  The sales department or the local store is not who is going to be honest about failures (if they in fact are aware of them), they just want the sale/comission.  I had actually never realized this before how valuable the service techs are -- thanks Paul and Dexter of Ten Plus Service.
