"Dan with Heartland Environmental called me a few hours after I created the project on a Sunday, while on the road for vacation, to ask a few questions and discuss an appointment for the estimate. I was shocked to say the least as I hadn't expected a response for at least a few business days. I made sure to thank him for the prompt response. Dan followed up after our vacation (I'm glad he remembered because I had forgotten) to set up an appointment for an estimate. He was on time for the appointment. My husband reported that Dan actually inspected our entire crawl space (meaning he crawled the entire crawl space of our over 1000 sq ft house on a 100 degree day) to give us the most accurate estimate. I received the estimate within a few hours (not days). The other company only viewed the easily accessible (only 2 small places) portions of the crawl space without actually getting in it. My husband commented that Dan was much more thorough and seemed to have our best interest at heart than the first company we got an estimate from. Dan's estimate was thousands less because the project would be mush less extensive. Dan determined we didn't require everything the first company estimated because he took the time to physically inspect the entire crawl space for the estimate not just a cursory view of a very small percentage of the crawl space. My husband and I still need to discuss the project before we move forward but we are definitely leaning towards choosing Heartland Environmental not only because of the price but because of the impeccable customer service and doing what's best for the customer not just profit attitude we've received already."
