The man from the company that came to my house today said there is no active mold in my house and there is definitely no active toxic mold that could be harmful to my children or my husband and I. There could be some water coming in behind a wall because there is no gutter on the roof so when it rains its all going to the foundation of my house. Its an easy fix, rip out the wall, patch up whatever could be causing the source of the water and replace the drywall with a mold proof drywall. I am IRRITATED beyond belief. These people saw me coming a million miles away. All they had to say was toxic mold & children &and harmful and they had me hook, line and sinker...Thankfully my husband has a more level head and didn'tt spend the money. DO NOT use Mold Test Company...find a company that is local to you that has a good reputation. This place is going to scam you! I called and spoke to Reid who was more than helpful and forthcoming with pricing and what was included in the price. They sent out Devin who was awesome! He came in my home and was some personable it was like we had been friends for years. While he was waiting for certain tests to be completed he and my husband talked sports, we talked about our kids. He played with my son all the while being very professional. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience and his ability to put me at ease about the possibility of having a mold issue somewhere in my home.
