"I am moving from Colorado to North Carolina for a Government job/relocation. NL Wilson Moving and Storage was hired by the Governmet for my relocation and was in constant communication for this short notice move. Michael called to do a walk through estimate and several texts and emails were received reminding of pack dates. The movers (Jordan and Jayce) called well in advance to let me know date and time of pack out. Jordan and Jayce arrived on time on the appointed day and were absolute professionals! They were friendly and courteous, and worked tirelessly to pack out the entire house in a single day. Jordan and Jayce returned the following morning as scheduled to load their truck, and again I was amazed by their work ethic! These two gentlemen are true professionals who deserve better than a five star rating! Over 15,000 pounds packed and loaded in two days! Signed copies of GBLs provided and I am extremely happy with services and personnel of NL Moving and Storage!!!"

"My fiancé and I moved from Missouri to Massachusetts. The move was somewhat last-minute, and we wanted to move to our new apartment ASAP. This company was the one who was able to get us there the fastest, and they were very polite and eager to work with us, so we went with them. This was our first big move, let alone our first cross-country move, so we lacked experience. Pros: -the movers were consistently respectful, easy to talk with, and very hard workers. -they moved our belongings quickly, and they made it to our destination in two days. Cons: -they majorly underestimated the size truck that we would need. We sent them pictures of our belongings, and they told us we would need a 16 foot box truck. However, it was way too small. They were unable to bring a lot of our furniture, which was really disappointing. They were unable to fit our nightstands, end tables, bookshelves, and dining & patio chairs. Not only did we have to rebuy all this furniture once we moved, but we had to figure out how to get rid of it all last minute, when we wanted to use that time to drive to our new home. -As we unpacked, we realized that some of the furniture pieces that we were able to bring were damaged in some way- chipped/dented/scratched. Nothing major, but still disappointing. **If this review was just about their positive attitudes and hard work ethic, it would be a 5/5. Unfortunately, overall, our already stressful cross-country move was made more stressful with having to pick and choose last-minute which furniture we were able to bring. The positive thing is that my fiancé and I learned a lot from this experience, and we now know what to look for with moving companies in the future."

"Tim and his team did a fantastic job unloading our moving truck for us.  We recently moved from out-of-state and needed help unloading the 16-foot rental truck we had loaded ourselves.  I called Tim (owner) and he was able to accommodate us with only a few days notice for a couple hours of help over the weekend.   He arrived on-time with one of his employees and was fully prepared with all the necessary tools to safely unload us (movers rubber bands, hand truck, doorway guards, etc.).  They moved the entire contents of the truck into our home very quickly and carefully, and were thoughtful in how they handled/maneuvered our belongings.  We would highly recommend them and plan to use them when we move again.

"The two movers could not have been more polite and helpful.  There were some communication issues with the fact that we had told the company we had a piano and they showed up without equipment to move it.  They were also sent without any floor coverings that we had double checked inquiring about  because we had just had our floors redone.  That being said, they were SO careful and our floors were not harmed in any way during the move.  The reason they were scored low on punctuality is that we had to wait almost 2 hours for the piano moving supplies to arrive so there was a lot of waiting around and the job took a lot longer than we had planned for.   I would definitely use them again because they were very apologetic and made things right when they did arrive. They know how to move and are good at what they do.  I got the feeling this was atypical for them and they were embarrassed that everything hadn't gone as smoothly as usual.  This was the second moving company we had used in the past few months and they were hands down the better of the two.

"We moved across town, and we personally moved all of the smaller items.  We had the movers just move the larger items such as furniture.  They had everything packed moved and into our new home in approx 4 hours.  Very efficient and nice.  Easy to work with.

"It went exceptionally well. I was extremely satisfied with this company. Not only did they come to my rescue on very short notice (due to heavy rain, my other moving plans had fallen through), but they also were professional, courteous, and careful with my items. The movers fully wrapped each piece before moving, offered to help me with moving some existing furniture out of the way, and were mindful of my time/money (the charge was per hour and the estate sale required some waiting). We have relocated out of state five times and locally once, all utilizing professional movers so I do have some experience with moving companies. I was totally satisfied with Always Helpful Movers. I will recommend them to our family and friends! Thank you for all of your help!"
