I’ve been working with tools and doing handyman and construction-type jobs for the past 4 years, with plenty of hands-on experience from my teen years doing odd jobs and repairs.\n\nI work in and around the Lawrence, KS area and can travel locally for most projects.\n\nI’m handy with tools and can take care of most small jobs—mounting, fixing, and general repairs around the home.\n\nI take pride in being reliable, friendly, and hardworking—getting the job done right the first time.

"Work was done to my expectations & beyond. Ben & Jesse helped me decide how to best approach the repairs & that made my $$$ go as far as possible. Work started on time and the job was finished on time. The quality of the workmanship was excellent---from demo to cleanup everyday to new drywall/mudding to painting and finish carpentry. I had new floors installed. To be honest, there was a problem with how the upstairs bathroom floor was installed. I was not happy and after they looked at the job, they agreed with me. New materials were ordered and installed perfectly within several weeks. I think that is what impresses me about this company. So many times contractors blow off an older woman. I've been treated so poorly by other companies. Not this company. When there was a problem with that flooring, they wanted to make things right and have me be satisfied. They never talked down to me or made me feel like my requests were outlandish. I couldn't be happier."

"Went great, planning to paint trim and railing next and I know who to go with! Taylor with Up North Contracting is professional and gets the job done right the first time!"

"They did a great job and gave me a good price. The hard part is the prep work - washing, scraping and caulking - and they took the time to make sure everything was done right. The house looks great and we have received compliments from the neighbors."

"Great. Used Kyle Black's service before - always excellent working very professional."

"Absolutely excellent. They are consistent who executed incredibly."

"It went great he was very thorough"

"Eric did a beautiful job on my kitchen cabinets, ceiling, floors, and wall tile. He worked with me on making my space just right, and was accommodating when I changed my mind. Love my new kitchen!"

"Brad did a great job. The rockers look great and he assembled them quickly and efficiently. The back door will not close sufficiently for the deadbolt to engage. It turned out that the weather stripping the previous handyman had installed was keeping the door from closing the way it should. So he got that repaired and now it closes smoothly and the deadbolt locks without any difficulty. He also repaired the front door. The striking plate for the deadbolt lock on that door was missing a screw at the bottom and he quickly provided a screw and installed it so now that the striking plate is firmly in place. At the end of the job, he took the packing materials for the rocking chairs with him for disposal and made sure that everything was cleaned up. Brad does a fantastic job at whatever I ask him to do. He charges a fair price. It is difficult to find handyman these days who are as reliable, professional, and expert as Brad. I feel so fortunate to have found him and I hope I can keep using him as a handyman for many years to come. I would heartily recommend them to anyone who has odd jobs around their house that need to be done, of any type."
