"Job went perfect. I was approved for financing the day I called. When the contractor came out for the bid, he made a materials and labor suggestion based on our needs. The original estimate of 9k worth of unnecessary privacy fencing, that I could not afford, went down to 2.5k of sturdy chain link providing a safe play space for our rescue dog. The contractor said they are more interested in helping customers out than making large sales. The fence is very professional. It is even wired into the ground so our dog cannot dig under it. The city inspector said it was a "perfect" construction job. Finished in under 8 hours. Roughly 100 feet of chain link, posts, concrete, plus gate. High quality materials and the yard was spotless when the job was finished. Very trustworthy. I feel strongly that I got what I paid for. Peace of mind that my dog, a known short fence jumper, is safe as well as my yard and padlocked gate. The most important part, is that my dog LOVES the freedom of having a large yard to run freely in."

"I hired GCS for some repairs to my basement - drywall, installing a couple of cabinets, installing trim and painting.  Overall they did a decent job - showed up on time, finished the job quickly - but as this was existing construction, they did not take the extra care to protect the surroundings.  No drop cloth during painting (I was getting new carpet, so not a huge deal but a pain to clean off my tile, hard surfaces).  The final product was good EXCEPT for the painting - I will have to hire painters to come in and re-do the painting because of the poor quality.

"It went great! I thought that an army had arrived. I wished that I had a larger parking lot than just a two car driveway. They were efficient and careful. They listened to what I wanted and made sure it happened that way. They went above and beyond making sure the site (Alley) was cleaned, swept and picked up. They left it better looking than they found it. The only reason they got a B instead of an A was the difficulty in setting the appointment. After they got there is was smooth sailing. Thanks!"

"They ended up having to come back twice, because the first time they didn't get it fixed. First, a man came out with a kit and he didn't really diagnosed the problem correctly. So, as a result he didn't fixed the problem. The problem still remained and we had to call him back to come down again to fix the problem. A second guy came by this time and he was able to fix the problem and diagnose what the real problem was. So, we were trying to get electricity back in our garage and it turned out that two plugs were feeding off a third plug which was for our swimming pool, which we weren't using, and a wire had shorted out there. And so, he was able to find the problem and replace the outdoor switch out there and got the wiring corrected. So, he did a good job; the other guy not so much. I would give the second guy an A, the first guy not so much. He's probably a nice enough guy, except he didn't diagnose the problem. The other guy, it didn't take him long to discover what the problem was at all. I thought the pricing was high, but I've never priced electrical work. And they also gave us an estimation on putting in some stairs and an estimation on moving our main breaker box."
