"I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time, but it took a vacation to get me to slow down long enough to get around to it. Simply put, we love our deck. Working with Dan Hoffman was a pleasure and the resulting structure is fantastic. From the beginning, Dan was very easy to work with. I had very specific ideas on how I wanted this deck laid out and constructed. Dan immediately understood what I wanted, and added suggestions to make it even better. Not every contractor that I have worked with has been as concerned with ensuring the end product was built right, and built the way I wanted it done. He took care of every detail from permitting to inspections. Dan and his crew were very dependable, and they kept the work site neat and clean. The deck itself has been a great addition to our home. The Trex decking looks great and has required no maintenance. I highly recommend the Rain Escapes under deck roofing. With a waterproof barrier overhead, the patio underneath provides space to use during the rainy months. It has essentially doubled the size of our outdoor living space, and extended the seasons where we can use it. If you are looking for a dependable contractor that will work hard to make sure things are done right, I highly recommend HD Structures."

"Our 1923 cedar shingle house had a lot of deferred maintenance when we bought it. It had a dust-bowl-era farmhouse feel, with flaking and chipping white paint, exposed concrete foundation, broken porch railings, and unused wires that needed to be removed. Greg was great about consistent communication as they encountered challenges and decision points. It meant a lot to us to be included in the ongoing plan, especially when we requested extra grinding to take off more old paint and some construction to bolster the rickety porch. Sixto put in incredible work effort, with excellent judgement. We have a toddler and I appreciated that the crew worked on keeping the area clean and being mindful of hazards. Overall, our house was transformed and the price felt right."

He showed up on time and was creative in solving some issues that came up. Even noticed a couple of small issues and made quick fixes as he worked. Great guy and great handyman!

"Premier painting did exterior work on my house a few years ago and I was happy with their work. I had some interior work that needed to be done, so I asked for a bid. Mojig came out to do the bid and sent me a written estimate using Benjamin Moore Select Regal paint (my preference). Typically, Premier Painting uses Sherwin Williams Emerald paint. I asked him to add "two coats of paint" to the written contract, as the original contract did not specify two coats. Mojig responded that two coats of paint were not necessary since I was using high-quality Benjamin Moore paint. He also said that if it were really needed for coverage, he would apply a second "light" coat. However, I did not feel comfortable with this, particularly since we were going from a dark brown to a cream color. Plus, the manufacturer recommends two coats of paint and all of my previous painters have used two coats of paint. After I told Mojig that I did not want to proceed with the job, he offered to do two coats of paint. However, by that point, I had lost confidence and decided not to proceed with Premier Painting for interior work."
