"I used Gil a few years ago to deal with water damage in my home from a leak in the roof and cracks in the foundation. I was so pleased/satisfied/totally blown away by his workmanship and professionalism that I called him immediately to get a quote for replacing my termite-damaged front porch. "Gary came to our home and was generous with his time in discussing the options for protecting our new redwood fence from the elements while allowing the natural grain of the wood to show through.  We originally had a different brand of stain in mind, but Gary strongly recommended another company's product.  We are very glad he did, now that we have seen the excellent results.  Gary and a helper worked well together to complete the job on a very warm and dry day.  Only very skilled painters could have completed this project and achieved the great results they did, given how quickly this type of acrylic stain tends to dry.  We wouldn't hesitate to use GK Painting again for other painting or staining needs, and would certainly feel comfortable recommending them to friends and neighbors.
