"We contracted with Chavez Painting to paint 3 large bedrooms, an upstairs hallway, and a stairwell with a high ceiling. They painted the walls, trim, doors and ceilings. When Mr. Chavez visited to provide a quote, he left us with a Sherwin Williams sample book of all their colors so we had plenty of time to select colors. He purchased the paint for us saving a trip to the paint store. Mr. Chavez and his team arrived on time, were very courteous and worked diligently. Before painting, they did a careful job fixing issues with the walls (nail pops, dings, gouges, and separating drywall seams). They covered our carpeting and all the furniture and sanded the walls before applying paint. They finished in two days and their work was beautifully done. We are very pleased with the result. A long problem seam we used to stare at every day going downstairs is gone! They repaired this difficult spot. We will use them again when we are ready to have the downstairs painted."

"They arrived on time and did an excellent protecting all of the furniture and rugs with plastic sheeting. They worked fast but were professional and thorough and courteous. 
I had a bit of problem getting a time scheduled initially but after a while we fixed a date for the work to be done.  I appreciated their being so flexible with the dates when at the last minute it was my fault that we had to change the dates a few times. 
I will definitely use them when I need to have larger parts of the house re-painted in a few years.

"Five Star Painting of Loudoun - Not Only Painting! They have now completed several jobs at our home. The last was replacement and repair of our deck surfaces, plus staining. We were so happy to discover that they do this, since most companies want to build you a new deck. We then had them also stain our fence. So far, they've painted the exterior of our house - a great job, on time, exactly what we requested, with attention to detail, and a walk-through at the end to be sure we were satisfied. When we needed interior painting, we didn't even get quotes, we just went straight to them. Again, superior job, even to repair of drywall. We still have another interior job to complete. "Jeff Newlin and his team are true professionals. We recently hired Jeff to paint the exterior of our house, detached garage, and barn. The quality of the work is exceptional. Here's what we liked about Jeff Newlin Painting: 1. The team was prompt. They arrived each morning at 7:30A like clockwork. They wrapped up each day by 4P. 2. Jeff clearly loves his team. Jeff pays them well, he does not overwork them (as many contractors do), and when the summer heat became too intense, Jeff took his crew home. 3. As a result, Jeff's crew showed care in everything they did. They were respectful of our home, asked questions, and were very polite. 4. The prep work and carpentry was top notch. Jeff's team seamlessly replaced any rotten wood. I can't find any signs of patching, even though I know where to look. 5. Jeff Newlin painting uses top grade Benjamin Moore paint. 6. Paint application was outstanding. Jeff's team changed our house from a yellowish-tan to a modern gray in two coats. There is absolutely no sign of the underlying color. 7. Jeff was onsite daily, and always available by text or phone. 8. At the end of the job, site cleanup was spotless. 9. Jeff has been very agreeable to coming back for touch ups (We installed new exterior lights, and Jeff returned to touch up around the edges). I don't often write reviews, but Jeff Newlin Painting deserves the praise."
