"I have trying to get rid of the rats and mice myself unsuccessfully. He has caught several already and sealed up all potential entries. He is coming back in a week to make sure all is still clear. He left traps outside and in the crawl space. The cost is worth getting rid of the pests! We have been worried about the damage we knew was possible."

"There were three phases of work: 1. Trap the rabbits and insure there where no rabbits in the crawl space. This took 2 - 3 weeks. Only one rabbit was caught – there are still rabbits in the area - but the crawl space was deemed free of rabbits. So we could move on to stage 2. 2. Clean up: remove all the vapor barrier from the crawl space and replace it with new vapor barrier. Then ‘fog’ the space with an anti-bacterial agent. The vapor barrier replacement was the bulk of the cost and seems to be a decent job. The first application of the fogger was not done adequately (according to me) but CC was happy to come back and do a more comprehensive fog. 3. A one year guarantee plan that included securing the entire house against incursion and periodic checks. There was some confusion about whether the guarantee included rats and mice (which had not been an issue with us but something I thought we paid for) but CC was good about working through the issue with us to everyones’ satisfaction. Overall the team was professional and good to work with. There where separate teams (trappers, cleanup, back office) and it was not clear that everyone was always on the same page. Our ‘manager’ was the original sales guy and we never really saw him throughout the process. My impression was he was focused on sales and not on follow through. BUT overall the team was good and the co-owner (Tim), who finished up with us (e.g. refogging), was great. I'm happy to recommend Portland Critter Control. Thanks Tim and team."

He even sprayed my hanging plant as he saw it was dying, my services today were dewebbing around the eaves, windows, doors, gutters, and j-rail. checked your bait stations, sprayed along the foundation, windows, doors, and gutters to create a barrier that will help keep pest out of and off your home. "We needed more data as to whether we had bedbugs, so we hired a canine search which indicated that we did not. The problem turned out to have a medical explanation and not a vector problem. My advice is to use everything possible to decide if the problem is really bed bugs. A well trained dog is close to 90% accurate, and add that to physical evidence, i.e., feces stains which are brown, looking in the seams of your mattress, and on your bed frame is important. There are many pictures of evidence online, so do your homework first, then the canine, then the estimates. Try not to panic. The idea of bedbugs is extremely disconcerting and emotional.
