"They were professional and punctual in the time of the initial visit and the work done to replace pipe. They provided pictures and video of the work done. The pricing was reasonable for the work done. I will hire them again and will refer to family and friends. Date of work: April 2021."

"What a great experience! I requested the assistance of a plumber to help resolve water backing up into the shower, fortunately my first return call was from Mimi at Mayor Plumbing Services. They were available to provide same day service and I booked with them. They showed up well within the time frame they said they could and went right to work. Not only resolved the issue at hand, but I asked if they had time to look at two toilets that kept running water intermittently. Without question, they took that on and got the job done including going out for parts needed to accomplish. Both Mimi and Pedro have can-do attitudes and will accomplish whatever task presented. It’s not often I can say a joy to work with! Thank you Mimi & Pedro for a job well done! It was a pleasure to work with you and I will highly recommend your services!"

"We submitted a request through Home Advisor the night before Thanksgiving because we had a kitchen faucet that wouldn t stop leaking - both from where it connects to the top of the counter and it was dripping underneath the sink. Gencod Plumbing called right away and said they could be there within the hour, which they were. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem (we needed a new faucet) and worked efficiently to complete the repair/replacement. We are so happy with the service they provided and would HIGHLY recommend Gencod Plumbing!"

"Bruz Plumbing was FANTASTIC! Very professional, honest, punctual, and affordable. Unfortunately plumbers are someone you don't ever want to see again, but I highly recommend them. I will keep his info on hand, just in case!"

"Romain's Plumbing is the absolute best! We had a very bad leak in our 50 plus year old home that two other plumbers could not fix, pin point nor identify. He was able to troubleshoot and find exactly where the problem was, explain, figure out, fix and repair everything quickly and efficiently. He is honest, trustworthy, hard working, and most of all reliable and fair. This is the number one Plumber in South Florida!"

"Called John's after finding their ad in the local newspaper. We also called another local plumber, but went with John's after they sent someone out immediately to look at the problem and give us an estimate. We scheduled the repair for the next day after getting what we thought was a reasonable quote. Brian, the same person who had come out to inspect problem, arrive early today to fix the leak. He was respectful, friendly, and diligently worked to fix the problem. We are very impressed with everyone we spoke to at John's and the great service we received! We would not hesitate to use them again and will be recommending them to all of our friends. "

"Robert from The House Doctor, LLC responded quickly, worked diligently, and executed professionally. How refreshing to have an expert still passionate about his craft! He anticipated possible additional replacement pieces and was prepared with ALL of the upgraded parts. The leak, the slow drain and the advanced replacement materials resolved, improved and enhanced the functions of the kitchen sink. Additional future plumbing projects were discussed as we planned to definitely use his services again! Fantastic job! And he totally cleaned up his entire work space."
Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.
A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.
When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.
You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
