"The plumber showed up on time and actually called when he was about 30 minutes away. He had the necessary repair part on his van and was able to complete the job in approx. 90 minutes. "When I first talked to Al he walked me through some items to see if I could do the repair myself. Once we figured out the level of the repair needed he immediately came over the next morning. By noon that day he had replaced my water heater, brought it up to code and charged a very fair amount. He also removed lines and capped them that were no longer in use that was not related to the water heater replacement. Al is old school and I very much appreciated his honesty as well as trying to work through the problem. Two other companies, they remain anonymous but both are on TV, came out and didn't look at the water repair heater to repair but just gave me an extremely high cost to replace. We had discovered that our water meter was continuing to run, even though we thought we had no water on anywhere.  We found Top Notch Plumbing on Angie's List, and we are so glad we did.  Gordon referred us to a leak detection service, and then came out afterwards and fixed the leak that was found in our son's bathroom.

That leak required cutting a hole in the closet wall to get to the pipes because of the age of the fixtures.  Gordon also referred us to a drywall company who came out the very next day to repair the drywall.

He also pointed out to us that the main water shut-off valve to the house was not completely shutting off the water.  So he fixed that as well while he was here, as well as replacing the knobs on the shut-off valves in our guest bathroom.

We have a drain in our laundry room that needs snaking every 6 months.  Our previous plumber recently retired.  We will definitely be using Gordon at Top Notch Plumbing for that as well.

"I've had to repeatedly call for plumbing service to clear a washing machine drain pipe, which is part of very old plumbing in a rental unit I own. With a previous plumber, they kept removing a replacing the fitting to the drain pipe. Personal plumbing simply installed, efficiently and at a reasonable cost, a drain clean-out (and I may not be remembering the exact name of this simple part). I called them after a good experience when they installed a new tankless water heater in my home."

"We had a hot spot on the floor and a high gas bill last month leading us to suspect a slab leak. We called several plumbing services and Personal Plumbing was able to come out the next day with their own slab leak tech. The techs were on time and took about three hours to find the leak and reroute and place pipe to repair. They were able to avoid more holes in the drywall by placing the pipe on the exterior garage side, extending us savings. They also showed great integrity by letting us know that any repair would also have to replace factory pressure valve that was no longer working (putting pressure on our system). We will definitely keep them in mind for any other plumbing work we need done!"
