"Mike replied to my request immediately by phone. He visited my home the next day, provided a quote and returned the following day with a new hot water heater. He made a few additions to our plumbing, installed the new heater and made sure I understood how to operate it properly. As it turned out the water heater had a bad control board. This meant Mike had to make two trips to the supplier to resolve the problem. This was NOT mike's problem, however he dealt with it professionally and finished the install ONLY after making sure all was well and I understood the changes made. "The plumber arrived on time, assessed the work to be done and the setting, and provided us with an estimate for five separate options. He thought he needed help, but no one was available from his company. So he went out to the plumbing supply store to pick up supplies we had not provided (we had purchased all of the replacement faucets, and two of the four shutoff valves). He worked diligently and finished the project by late afternoon. Our only complaint was that the plumber did not set the drain plugs properly. I spent about an hour resetting the “open” position so that liquids would drain properly."

"I noticed water leaking from the water heater.  It is an old heater so I figured it was time to replace it.  It was a Friday so I was concerned that it would not be until the following week before I could get someone there to do the job and that the leak might become more serious.  I went through Angie's List and found Water Heater Masters. Since I did not need the services of a general household plumber I thought Water Master Heaters  would be a good resource.  I telephoned and left a vmail message which was returned within the hour.  They said they could be at my home in the next two hours and they ended up arriving sooner than that.  The man doing the work immediately assessed the situation and we agreed it was time for a new water heater.  He worked very quickly and the old heater was removed and the new heater was installed and working within two hours of his arrival. He also strapped it to the wall for earthquake safety.
