"I called HomeX. Oscar arrived on Monday morning (on time). I asked if he would come in and take a look at the two drains affected by the stoppage. He did. I then asked if he had a wire long enough to reach through the branch to the main. He did. They has a special running for $68.00. He ran the wire through the line. The drain was cleared. Read on... Prior to calling HomeX I had called another firm. They came and attempted to clean the branch drain but failed to do so. They recommended hydrojetting and quoted a price of $1800.00. They "came down" to $1200.00 but based an past experience I was uncomfortable with the quote and the result of the initial work. By the way... I held a Journeymans plumbing license in the state of Massachusetts for quite a while and worked in the trades for 8 years. HomeX is a company that can be trusted and I would recommend them to anyone in need of this kind of service work."

My water heater stand needed to be shored up due to some water damage and also my exhaust on the roof needed some repair as well. Some companies may not handle such requests based on conversations I had during the estimating portion of my research. Bruce delivered on all my requests and was upfront about costs. Bruce was very knowledgeable on water heater installs, we ran into some issues due to the water damage and neglect on my part on the water heater and he was well prepared to handle them.
