"Several false starts due to the previous job taking longer than he expected.  His quality of work was fine.  Rudy was tough to nail down on the price. He kept asking me for money every single day he was working for me.   He would hand me a scribbled note with some material prices on it.  I finally told him to stop asking me for money every time I saw him because I was getting irritated with the daily requests.  Overall Rudy is a nice guy and I would recommend him but do spend some time up front negotiating the price for the job and getting in writing before you give him the go ahead to start work.
