"They did a wonderful job. Very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. Did great job with the prep work getting our home ready prior to them started the painting. Appreciated the assistant from Kenjax with guidance to help us pick out the colors to get the results we wanted. They also did a complete walk around after the project to make sure to address any concerns we had. I would highly recommend this company."

"Michael came to us with excellent reviews from previous contractors. He had worked forlocally. His scope and orientation, which included a sit down and a walk around of our home and garage, the awnings, the chimney and for the shutters and the doors. Any changes were noted and initialed by both parties. Our home was built in 1939. We were updated as process continued by both Michael and his crew. I liked M&M having their sign in my yard. The power wash of our wood sided house, garage, and trim was with care. Also, the cement foundation needed a much rougher cleansing as he suggested. He continued the process as best whether allowed. His skills with carpentry were noted to replace damaged siding and trim, redoing glazing where needed on the windows, scraping and sanding the chimney along with the sanding of the metal awnings. We chose to go with his recommendation of the primer and the paint and his purchase of supplies as needed for replacement, repair, & prep. Our shutters and doors required a special pigment application. I could tell his crew members had been trained, cross, trained, and had come to appreciate the finer details of prep, priming, and painting. I found Michael to be a man of his word."

"The results were specular; I couldn’t have been more pleased! Crew size was large enough to complete the job as fast as the dry time would allow. Painters were assigned to the project. All were professional, skilled, responsive to concerns, and respectful of pandemic protocols."

"Lori was professional and punctual. She was given detailed instructions. After job was completed and inspected I was very pleased with how detailed she was. Best cleaner I’ve had so far. I would highly recommend"

"Overall my experience with Hummingbird was excellent.  The quality of their work was top-quality, they finished the job in the time frame that they said they would, and for the agreed upon price.  The owner (Ken) was responsive in his communication, and you could tell that he wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with the work that they had done.  They only reason for 'good' grades above is because the price was a little more than expected even though it was the price agreed on, and they ran a little late a couple of days.

"P&G is like most normal contractors you are buying their time even though they quote a job. If something is horribly wrong and you pointed it out they would fix it, but there just wasn't the A quality I thought I'd get from a professional painter. They try to do a good job but they are on the clock and they have to be "done" when they run out of their alloted time. I feel where we went wrong with P&G is we did not emphasize that we wanted everything done right. This seems obvious to us, but most people just want the best price. If you win the quote you get work. But when I hire someone to do something I can do myself I expect professional quality inherently. However, you will find this with MOST contractors out there. So even thought he below sounds bad I would say P&G is still a good average contractor.
- They didn't use tape on anything they thought you wouldn't see. They lied to me when I found paint on our window boxes and said it was already there. Except the boxes were new so they'd never been painted by. Only when I told them this did they admit they took shortcuts.
- They would say things like "we need to caulk this corner" but then they never did.
- I heard about how ugly everything in our house was as an excuse for why they were doing a bad job. I thought that is what home improvements are for.
- Lastly, the owner made an excuse for leaving early the last day. He was wearing a college teams shirt and I know their game was starting soon cause he kept checking his watch. He left with out finishing his touchups to the woodwork etc and said he was going to visit a friend in the hospital. I'm not really sure why he was at our house working if this friend was in bad condition or why he suddenly had to leave right before the game.

"My driveway always flooded with the rain. Home star installed a drain and a pipe which emptied the water into a ditch on my front lawn. They slanted the concrete so the water would drain. They also installed a patio . The craftsmanship was excellent! And there was not any sign of debris after the job. I will hire them again."

"Went very well. Was on schedule and did a great job. Money well spent."

"It was great. They are awesome! They did exactly what I asked them to do. They didn't charge me extra."

"Alec gave me a lot of good ideas on what I wanted to do with my back deck. He also was able to get it done in a timely manner with excellent quality."
