Site estimates were from $15,000 to $20,000 for a simple installation to $25,000 - $30,000 with difficulties. So, with the information found on Home Advisor we chose Dan Mackin Jr. Construction from Jewett City, CT (860-376-6591 or 860639-7933) whose estimate after examination of the site was $13,200. It turned out the only acceptable area required extensive ledge removal! Mackin Construction removed the ledge at no extra cost. After installation was complete, the area was totally restored to our satisfaction. At no time was there a lack of communication (verbal or digital) between the customer and the contractor. Payoff was $13, 050 because we were credited $150 for parts not needed. BOTTOM LINE: This is one of the last family owned businesses of this kind that deliver a quality product at a fair price!"
