I suggested using a smaller sized unit based on a quote from another plumber which is the route we went. They also covered the overage for the additional cost of the smaller sized unit which was nice but if I wasn’t aware of the option I’m not sure what I would have done. They also only sent one person initially so I helped bring the old unit down and the new one up in between trying to work. Also the breaker to the hot water heater was never flipped back so I’m waiting to see how the unit performs now."

He replaced the broken pipe and we ran the water but the pipe was still clogged. He then unscrewed the fitting that he installed and ran a snake down the pipe to fix the problem. Phil arrived on time, came up with a better solution to the problem than what I had envisioned, did the job a few days later and at the agreed upon price. The project consisted of a pipe attaching to a downspout then running underground for about 50 ft. on a curve and emptying into a lower semi-wooded area. He finished the surface well enough so that in the spring I can plant grass seed without having to do additional work. I was pleased with how it turned out."
