"Mike and his team did a solid job for us.  The previous owners had punted on installing
the correct solution and lied about water entering the home.  When we found ¼ inch of water in our back
room basement we called GMBS out and they were there within hours to do an
estimate.
This was one of the rainiest summers in recent memory and
GMBS had a ton of business so we had to wait, but it was worth the wait.  They finished the job in under 3 days and the
work looks great.
They installed a brand new sump pump, the old one the previous owners had
installed was done poorly, was inefficient to the task and sounded like a jet
engine.   They installed a sub floor
perimeter drainage system and vapor sealed our walls.
 
They were quick, professional, courteous and were easy to
work with.  We paid up front and part of
the job was over estimated and they got a refund to us when we needed it. 
 
I have more work I need done in the future and I plan on

"I have worked with Richard (owner) for about a year now. Before knowing him I was always confused about how to get some work done in the house. I never had a reliable person to turn to. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

He then repaired and seeded the lawn where the work was done. I also had him remove a shrub and deliver stones for some landscape improvement. A genuinely nice person as well.
