"They did a great job and the yard looks fantastic! The only glitch was they were supposed to arrive at 12 noon, but showed up at 9 am. Apparently they had a cancellation. It would have been nice if they had called to notify me they were coming 3 hours early. Glad I was home when they arrived. Other than that I would have given them all A's."

"Did a nice job, especially considering that the well guy hadn't arrived yet so I didn't have running water. It was noisy (not a problem, just the machinery doing its job) but they did a good job. He cleaned my air ducts & vent covers, gave me some good suggestions & recommendations - the house had sat empty for several years, so there were issues. He offered to add dryer vent cleaning at the 'deal' price, which ended up to be more than he bargained for since it was completely blocked and coming apart.

The project went extremely well especially considering the house had aged and previous termite damage required replacement of wall supports and new joists over the large picture windows. All damaged wood was removed and floor supports recovered for the second floor. Their carpentry capability was excellent and complemented excellent skill in handling the various window and door frame changes requested.

The workmen were very neat in their work even with the wall replacement and always courteous. The owners checked on the work frequently and followed up with operation instructions for the new windows at he end. The guarantees on the windows are through the manufacturer not just the installer.

This firm is relatively new, but I can highly recommend.

"It was messy but that is to be expected when working on sheet-rock and carpentry. The work itself turned out very well. The job was to enlarge two closets, repair wood and sheet-rock, install two large doors with mirrors, casing, and paint. Good carpentry work; we had a couple of problems but he immediately asked what we thought and did not try to cover or hide the imperfection. Mr Tolbert was willing to redo a part that was not perfect - his suggestion. That, perhaps, is the most important quality: if something is not right, he will tell you, discuss ways to improve, and redo if necessary. He brought a helper to paint two rooms and the helper too was very professional. I would definitely hire him again to do carpentry, painting and other handyman work. My only 4 star instead of 5 was because it took him a while to get back to me with an estimate and a possible start day - that could be because he is overwhelmed with work. We had expected 4 days of work: 1 per closet, and 1 per painted room. He finished in 3 days (once he got a helper it went faster)."
