"My experience with Jim the Handyman was great from start to finish. They responded to my initial inquiry promptly, sent someone to thoroughly assess the necessary work, and then met and exceeded my expectations when completing the work. I needed several repairs to set of French doors. One company wanted to replace the entire door set for $3500. Jim the Handyman did only the necessary work for $285. I appreciated not only the quality of the work, but the honesty about what was required. I'll now use Jim the Handyman for a variety of projects around the house when they come up. Kudos!"

"Colin and Ted are great to work with. They do about 250 sheds a year, and have been in business over 20 years. Their product line is extensive, and they are able to accommodate most customization requests. That customization aspect was important In our project, as cost and zoning restrictions prevented us from adding a garage, but we were able to do a large shed instead. So setting up a shed to accommodate a vehicle presented some challenges. We are very happy with the result."

"We used VKB to convert our ½ bath/powder room into a full bath with walk-in shower. This entailed moving our front door and expanding the front porch. Overall, we experienced a lack of attention to detail and a lack of responsiveness that allowed for lapses in quality and mistakes in construction. The workmanship is merely adequate. We do not recommend VKB."

"REA Services are Excellent. They performed the work next day! Which is amazing since all I heard from Alward was "there is a shortage of carpenters". REO did the assembly and install within 2 hours. They were very professional and paid attention to detail during the install to make sure the pantry was a perfect addition to our kitchen and I saved over $600."

"Moore Designs and Outdoor Living painted my house, remodeled my bathrooms, painted my garage (walls and floors) and added a home gym in my basement. Every bit of their work was top notch and the service they provided was stellar. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to do home renovations."

"The crew did a great job - our porch/stairs were wooden and rotting, they were able to replace with Trex and the suggestions in connection with railing styles, etc look great and very solidly built."

"Beyond my expectations! The old door was condensing inside and out, we knew there would be extensive damage to the wood framing and floor area beneath. It was worse than I expected. Mike installed the new door, created a way for our pet door to fit while still being able to LOCK the slider! Over three days - the tear out, purchasing of many materials, repairing the frame, installing the new door, repainting/restoring the interior and exterior to BETTER than they previously appeared, and rigging that new and improved pet door - he worked diligently. I have never had a workman that was so neat! Cleaning up debris, bagging trash, maintaining the work area organized and safe. I have already recommended him to friends, and they have all said how great he was! I have many other projects planned, and will not hesitate to call Home Remedies again."

"Mr. Nesbit arrived promptly and completed the job in under 2 hours. While the deal did not include toilet disposal, Mr. Nesbit packed up the toilet neatly and set aside near my garbage for me to arrange disposal. I would definitely use Mr. Nesbit again for other projects"

"A wall of a barn had become unattached to the foundation. The repair needed was not obvious, but Mr Davis knows exactly how to repair it. Work was completed on time and was expertly done."

"We had had an excellent experience with the predecessor to TrueDecks almost a decade ago so asked for our Ipe wood balcony to be cleaned and re-stained after being away from our house for several years. The customer service is responsive and efficient, although they clearly get busy in the spring/summer season, and also have to account for weather. Likely because the decking was so overdue for refinishing, the first coat really didn't suffice. The crew came back for a second round and the finished product looks excellent, just as dark as I recall from years ago. They were polite, careful, and timely...and also worked independently (only using a ladder to access the second-story balcony/deck!). We were pleased by TrueDeck's responsiveness to our concerns about the first coat and very happy with how it was resolved. (Sort of before and after photos below.). We will definitely use them again to keep our deck in good shape going forward."
