"Our review is based on the purchase (part 1) for replacing siding for both side of our home. Jacob L. was very professional, on time, and honest. He knows what he is selling. We learned a lot about our home during his presentation. Before we bought our home we paid for a professional home inspection. We thought our house inspector was very good but he did miss something---the siding on the sides of our home was installed extremely bad. Jacob pointed out so much that we just didn't know and should have be caught during our home inpection. Thanks Jacob!!"

"I replaced the gutters on my home  and it was discovered that there was no drip edge on one section of the roof and the edge of the roof was rotted on both sides. I had someone else look in the attic and the insulation was wet.  At the time it was thought that there was some insulation with asbestos because of its appearance and the age of the house.  I received an estimate that was very expensive and was very upset to say the least.  I found Young Environmental Services on Angie's List and read the reviews.  Since others said he was willing to explain processes to you, I called.  Mr. Young answered, listened to my description of the problem, explained the process to remove asbestos and then referred me to a reputable company for testing my house.  As it turns out, I do not have asbestos but if I had I feel confident I would have used Mr. Young to remedy the situation.

"The Louise August Home Improvement provided prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous service in response to my request for repair of a leak along the seam between my aluminum siding and the roof line. Because water was seeping into our dining room ceiling whenever it rained, we needed prompt, almost emergency service. Jim and George came within a day to assess the situation and returned the following day to complete the repair and to re-coat our flat roof that was showing signs of gradual failure. "Bought a $139 Big Deal for a 4-hour service - great value! Jose setup the appointment quickly after purchase. We had a slight hiccup with the timing the morning of appointment but he made adjustments and got his associate Marvin to me soon after. The service requested was to repair some drywall damaged from the poor removal of wallpaper. Lots of sanding and patching on the high walls. Marvin worked quickly and did a really nice job getting the wall in shape. It took him a little less than the 4 hours he worked so efficiently.
Made an additional appointment for him to come back a few days later to sand the new plaster and, for a great price, additionally had him paint the walls and ceiling for the stairwell and hallway. He did a really nice job! Marvin put up plastic to protect the dust from getting to the rest of the house, swept the floors, and cleaned up beautifully.
