The had to dig up part of the back yard, which was a whole lot better than digging through the floor of our family room!  The installed some sort of balloon piping which essentially was inserted into the old cast iron pipes and expanded them until they cracked and then the were replaced by the balloon insert that was already inserted.

They worked so that it was not as invasive of our dwelling as possible.  They also came back out and graded and seeded the lawn where they had to dig.
