"Very thorough explanation of procedure and what would be included in resurfacing my pool. Gave several more options on start time and surfaces to choose from. Price was right also."

"Mike and his crew are some of the friendliest and hardest working guys I've ever met. He has his own crew and they work very well together. Anytime I had a question or a concern, it was addressed and taken care of. We absolutely love our remodeled pool! Thank you Pierce Pools!"

"I needed the steps into the pool repaired and my pool repainted. Lann was very professional, friendly and prompt. Due to weather issues, the pool was painted a little later then initially planned. Lann continue to keep me informed. The steps and pool look amazing. I'm very thankful I hire him. He's even helping me get a pool cover."

"We bought our pool 3 years ago and that experience was outstanding. We chose Pleasant Pools not because they were the cheapest bid (they weren't) but because we liked the owner and had a good feeling about doing business with him after our consultations and design meetings. Boy did that gut feeling ever turn out to be right on target.
The entire experience was very positive from beginning to end. They use a very high tech simulation program to show you a YouTube video of what your pool and spa will look like. We ended up with a rock waterfall and spillover spa but we changed things several times and they would just reprogram the simulation and let us see what it would look like. They were patient while we decided what we wanted. They even include the back of your house and the layout of your yard in the simulation. The final video looks "exactly" like what we ended up with.
We couldn't have been more pleased with everything up to the point of our first swim but that was just the beginning of what will now be a long term relationship with Pleasant Pools. The service for the past three years has been outstanding and we go to the Mustang, OK store for our supplies. We had a pool pump go out the second summer and they had it replaced the next day under warranty and at no labor charge.
But the crazy over the top service occurred this past week when the weather was dangerously cold. The temperatures were down in the single digits most of the week and wind chills near or below zero. We came home one evening and something had obviously gone wrong no doubt due to the extreme cold. The spa was only 2/3 full and was spewing frozen mist all over the deck. We were concerned about waiting until the morning to call fearing we might lose thousands in equipment. So we actually tried to call the company owner on his cell phone that we still had from when the pool was being built. He took our call and tried to help me troubleshoot several things to determine the problem. When it became obvious to him that there was an issue that was serious because of the cold and there was a risk of damaging equipment, he drove an hour from his home to our home in Mustang. Then in 14F weather with wind chills near zero he laid on the ground and drained each piece of our equipment to protect it from freezing damage. He also open check valves to get the water out of the pipes above ground to protect them.
After he had everything drained and protected he assured us as soon as the temperatures rose above freezing he would have a crew back out to get everything hooked back up and running. I estimate he saved us in the neighborhood of $7k-$8k in lost equipment by driving an hour to our house late at night in horrible freezing conditions.
Honestly, we were so grateful and stunned that the owner or a company with multiple locations across the State of Oklahoma with hundreds of employees would personally come and do something like this for us to save us from incurring this sort of expense. Who on earth does something like that? It is my opinion that just about any other company I could have used wouldn't have even answered the phone at 9:00pm on a night like that. I would have lost thousands in equipment and broken pipes and they would have just made more money selling us new equipment and charging us for digging up frozen pipes.
I would add that the attitude of this company owner permeates down through his staff as well. We are Pleasant Pools customers for life and will never consider using another Pool company for service, supplies or any other pool need.
I HIGHLY recommend this company.

"1) Outside faucet was replaced and works great. 2) Tech found and removed a bit of plastic that we couldn't find. Noise gone. 3) Problem determined to be a bad solenoid. He didn't have the part but he did put me in touch with Delta to order it. I'll have to put it in myself or pay another service call. 4) Tried to repair with new flapper balls (which I had already tried). Dye revealed slow leak continued, so he replaced one entire flush assembly which stopped the leak. He only had one kit on his truck though, so the other one I will have to replace. That's annoying. The professionalism downgrade is due to 1) the wet-vac he used to suck water out of the toilet tank sprayed fine drops of wet, greasy water across my bathroom. I was right there and cleaned it up in a few minutes with paper towels (and threw the dirtied rug in the washer). I told him it was no big deal, but it was annoying that he didn't apologize. He just said "it has a filter" like it hadn't just happened right in front of me. 2) He later dribbled a little blue-dyed water across the clean upstairs bathroom floor as he was going back out to his truck. My wife found it and was angrily asking me what happened (upstairs) when he came back in. He yelled "because I'm an idiot" and went upstairs. I thought that was his way of apologizing but no -- he was angry because he wrongly thought my wife called him that. She didn't, and she told him so. He said "I thought that's what I heard". My wife was so upset at being falsely accused she left the house. When he was all done and ready to leave I confronted him on this, telling him I was there and my wife did not call him an idiot and that she is not one to say such things. He finally apologized, but my wife wasn't there to hear it. Finally, he spent 15 minutes or more working up the bill. I thought I would get details on what each repair cost, but the receipt only had totals. I thought it was a little expensive, but I don't have much experience with plumbing costs. I was happy to get 10% off because we are also an HVAC customer."
Running a pool pump continuously significantly increases your monthly electricity expenses. With a single-speed pump, you might see costs toward the upper end of the average range, potentially reaching $150 per month depending on your pump's horsepower and local electricity rates.
Variable-speed pumps would be more economical even with continuous operation, but would still increase costs above normal. However, 24/7 operation is rarely necessary for residential pools, as most require only eight to 12 hours of daily filtration.
Yes, LED pool lights provide substantial energy savings compared to traditional halogen fixtures. Industry data indicates LED lights are five times less expensive to operate than halogen alternatives, while providing equivalent or better illumination. Though LED fixtures often have a higher initial purchase price, the energy savings and longer lifespan make them a cost-effective choice for pool owners who enjoy nighttime swimming.
