When I asked why my countertop was soo much darker then the original which showed when old cooktop was taken out he said what everyone doesn’t realize is granite has to be sealed every year or all the chemicals to clean with/oils from cooking/dirt from people get on it and are absorbed and you can not do anything to bring back the original color if you haven’t protected it!
