"Mario and his crew did an excellent job. 100% satisfied. He explained the job thoroughly, and made suggestions to the work scope adding additional details. The job site was spotless when they completed the job. Thanks Mario and the MG Tile crew."

"Pilar Bohorquez and his team are masters of their craft, they performed a tile installation at my residence at Solera in the north east side of Bakersfield, from the beginning, Pilar was forthcoming about the time and resources it would take for his team to complete the project. The team was communicative as to their progress throughout the process. Their meticulous planning, attention-to-detail, and precision that went into a project like mine is truly unparalleled. I implore you to give them your business, You won’t regret it, he is a man of his word, I didn't need to sign any contract, from the beginning I knew he could be trusted, a young guy doing his best to satisfy his customers, by performing quality work at a fair cost, I am convinced that in short time his repeat and referral customer ratio will be higher. Shall you need more input on him, just drop me a quick email: oorodriguez2000@yahoo.com"

"I had to have my carpet steam cleaned, not shampooed. For my situation it was the best procedure and it was recommended by Chris, the owner."

"They removed carpeting, demo out some granite tile in entryway and finished over 500 Sq Ft of tile in 3 days."

"The tile and grout came out MUCH cleaner looking - he did a good job.  He showed up exactly when he said he would and did a great job."

"Gilbert with faith flooring did a wonderful job installing carpet in our home. Our living room looks amazing. He gave us a great price for the installation and materials. I really cant say one negative thing about the experience with him. We will be calling him back in the future."

"I'm so happy with the tile backsplash Ken of Great Scott Builders installed as part of our kitchen remodel. He worked efficiently, was easy to have around and was careful with the details, with a good eye for what looks right and a lot of know-how. The price was fair and appropriate for the time spent and the craftsmanship we received. Overall, a beautiful job. I would not hesitate to ask him back for another project."

"The initial estimate for home builder grade carpet was $10,700 for 170 yards of carpet;
Empire's discounted estimate was $5600 for 170 yards for the builders grade carpet which comes out of be about $33 per yard installed.
The Emprie Sales person focused on the total price of the job and how quickly they could install; not price per square foot or per square yard (regular carpet industry terms)
the Sales person provided two discounts to get us to sign that day, the lowest discounted price provided is the $5600 listed above;
We chose not to sign with Empire since we had two other carpet companies coming out to provide us with an estimate (good thing we did not sign with Empire). We found a better grade of carpet and price with one local carpet stores (without asking for any discounting) We compared the other two carpet companies prices to Empire's price and Empire was still were twice as high with a lower grade of carpet than their competitors.
We did not share estimates/bids with the other carpet companies and all three carpet stores came up with the same amount of carpet to install. all the the estimates/bids included removal of old carpet and pad and installation of new carpet and pad.
If you're going to have carpet installed get some competitive estimates before signing with anyone.
