I asked him to help me decide whether to demolish the old tile floor or just install the new tile over it. He gave me a good list of pros and cons based on his experience, which enabled me to make an informed decision. (The other two contractors I talked to about this were unsure and non-committal, which was not helpful). Ben also educated me about Schluters, which he recommended for the steps. Ben's estimate was pretty close to my other Angi-recommended installer and 25% less than the tile vendor's choice, which made it an easy decision to go with him. Ben was able to start the very next week, and got the whole job done beautifully and professionally in just 4 days. I am 100% satisfied with the result. He kept his work area neat during the job, and left no trace when he was done. I couldn't have asked for a better experience."

"The tile we had installed was done poorly. The boxes said it was not directional tile, but ANYBODY could see that it was after laying it. Especially a so-called professional. So, the "pattern" is all messed up. The carpet was ok, but the installers stayed WAY TOO LATE. They didn't finish until after 9 p.m. They should have come back to finish the next day."
