"Sam the Man did several remodels in my home. I had 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen ( with a wall that was removed) and the basement. Every room was brought down to the studs. "Let me start by saying, the customer service wasn’t good and here’s way. I’m a property manager and I don’t like working on the weekends, however, I accepted the first available appointment they had, which was a Saturday. I live in NY and the project is in NJ. They called me 2 hours before the scheduled appointment and said their driver was in an accident and had to cancel and apparently their wasn’t anyone else available. They rescheduled for the following Monday. I drove to the location and waited about 2 hours past my scheduled appointment after the keep telling me the driver is on his way, the driver never showed and they give me some BS story way, I didn’t buy it. They rescheduled for the next morning, reluctantly I accepted. They finally showed and long story short, when they came, they actually did a great job, so I’m actually happy for that. However, I wouldn’t recommend that location Empire Carpet bottom line."

"Edgar G. of E-G Works LLC did a *great* job on our basement including removing water-damaged paneling & replacing by drywall, fixing some wood trim, and painting everything. He was very responsive and if we wanted something done differently he would do it. The price was much less than another contractor's quote. He was able to start right away and got it done quickly and we are very happy with the results. We are hiring him for another project, replacing our front door and repairing its frame.
