"The estimator was a very friendly and trustworthy gentleman. The work crew was efficient and diligent, did excellent work. We're pleased with the estimator and crew. The parent company (Empire) however is in another State and clueless. They phoned me one morning to schedule the installation. Problem was that the job had been already scheduled, and the crew had been on the job already for two hours. The caller seemed to not comprehend. I held the phone out so she could hear the pneumatic hammers. They called me again the next day, again to schedule the job, after the work was already finished. They seem to keep no record of calls made, and have difficulty understanding that "the job is already in progress" or "finished". Also they will annoy you for weeks afterward with e-mails and phone calls for surveys and/or more "special" prices on jobs you don't need. I hope they read this review. I will not hire Empire again."

"We hired them two separate times. They removed our existing tile throughout our home and replaced it with a beautiful wood look porcelain tile. They showed us the different grout options we can use and what would look best with the tile we chose. They also installed a gorgeous stone fireplace."

"All demo work went well. Everything was scheduled and went mostly as planned. I had other contractors working during the time Efrain and his crew were there and Efrain was very accommodating. With jobs this size things will never be perfect or go as planned but Efrain is knowledgeable, responsive, and worked to ensure we were happy with our remodel and worked hard to meet our timeline. Efrain quotes a fair price and follows through with what he says he will do. He is experienced, a good listener, and provides solutions to almost any problem put in front of him. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed.
