"Jeffrey completed our work on 8/2/21 in a very professional manner and kept us updated during the entire project. We had to have new drainage installed to take the water away from the house and had to have our driveway lifted and cracks filled. He cleaned up the area and even later the grass back where he had to dig trenches in our front yard."

"They service tech was proffessional and prompt.
He was neat and clean up all debreie.
I was not happy with the finish on the bottom of tub since I wanted a smooth finish
it was a slip guard apparence. I requested to have him redo this to give a smooth appearance
on the bottom to match the sides. He was very happy to redo my tub to meat my satisfaction.
In the future don't assume all the details, discuss with the service person doing the job.

"We had been having problems with an exterior silcock dripping while in the off position; as a result of landscapers over tightening it. I was concerned the entire silcock might need to be replaced, rather than only the internal parts such as the washers; because a plumbing expert at a local home supply store said it would be unlikely to find internal parts to match/work. The concern was due to the fact that our only access to the water supply connection point to the silcock (i.e., silcock extends 12 inches to the interior for anti-siphon/antifreeze function) would be through cutting/patching of the ceiling in our finished basement. However, Kelly Chapman did have internal parts in his truck to match/work and made quick work removing the internal parts, replacing an internal washer and reassembling; which solved the dripping in the off position (and any potential pipe freeze this winter). Now that enough time has passed since the repair in September, to monitor the silcock through some freezing weather, the silcock antifreeze function also appears to be working fine.
Kelly Chapman has also performed other previous plumbing services at our house (such as gas piping, toilet/water closet replacements, water valve replacements, etc.) and each time has been prompt, efficient, professional and reasonably priced. We intend to continue hiring Kelly Chapman for future work, including a pending future master bathroom remodel.

Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.
A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.
When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.
You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
