"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! "Jesse and Tillerman Gardens are top notch! We have worked with them for years. With our first home they widened our driveway, added a retaining wall, leveled our backyard and made a beautiful stone wall around our garden. Our house sold in 2 days and all the feedback was about our “beautiful curb appeal”. I was most sad to leave these features of our home, I literally did not want to move and leave my stone wall! It was a deal with my husband to call Jesse immediately and get a new stone wall around my garden. In our new home Tillerman gardens has created a new curved stone pathway, MY stone wall around the garden, leveled the backyard, created a patio around our shed, added a split rail fence, not to mention the landscaping! "The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

"Fernando came by to provide an estimate within a day of the request and completed the job within a week. The work they did removing and replacing the cracked mortar joints was excellent. They completely removed the mortar between the bricks as opposed to just cutting a small area of the mortar out before replacing it with new mortar. The new mortar is much whiter than the old mortar but hopefully the repair will be less noticeable after cleaning the old mortar and exposure of the new mortar to the elements."

"George and his crew replaced our 26 year old asphalt driveway. It was in desperate need of replacement, and his crew was able to get it completed in a half day - and did an excellent job. Our neighbor saw his work and hired him to replace their driveway as well. We're both very happy with the work, and George was very helpful and communicated with us throughout the process. His price was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommended!"

"I had used Glenn many years ago for some masonry repairs and called him again for this project as I lost his number but I was elated to find his information on Angie's list. He came over very promptly after calling him and gave me written estimate detailing all the work to be performed. My front and back stoops and walk way renovation was a project I had put off for a long time, mostly from the dread of finding a quality mason contractor to do the job since I lost his number from before. Glenn kept me in the loop for the entire project and asked for my input along the way. They cleaned up the area around where the work was performed. Glenn was prompt and always called me every morning to tell me when to expect him, he was knowledgeable, personable and professional and I could go on and on! He and his crew finished the premium flagstone stoops and walkway exactly as designed ahead of the time he told me and strives for customer satisfaction as evidenced with his qualuty work. I can't think of any way this job could have been completed in a more professional manner or with a better company. Should I have need of a masonry contractor in the future, I will definitely call J & G Masonry as I was so very happy with the work performed. I'm already thinking about the next project that I can call Glenn about doing - possibly an outdoor brick oven. I miss seeing him come to my house every day. You won't be disappointed!"
