"Right off the bat I’ll state that after he arrived, I (a 50 year old woman) had to provide and carry a stepladder from my garage to the upstairs for him to access my attic. At first he said he would need to damage the drywall to connect to an electrical switch. He fumbled around for awhile and then stated that there actually happened to be a junction box at the recessed lighting below that he could use - not sure why it took so long to figure that out. He charged me for an hour and a half of work to connect the already installed attic fan to the already existing junction box - $276 (initial estimate was $200)."
