"We hired Rick and J Co. for a basement remodel, which included tearing down old wood paneling, ceiling panels, old carpet, and adding waterproofing for about 1200 square feet of space. J. Co did a full demolition, and installed all new lighting, carpet, drywall, electrical, paint and a wall that would create a new bedroom. They installed a new closet in the added bedroom, all new custom doors, painted our laundry room floor, and even did a few odd jobs that came up along the way (repairing an old pipe, rewiring a telephone line, helping install the knob for a fireplace to name a few). Rick and his entire team were wonderful to work with. Even with delays of the major flooding that occurred throughout the city, they still managed to finish in great time and delivered a basement we are very proud of. Every detail was addressed and all guys were professional at all times! They left our space clean and beautiful. We would hire J Co. again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone else! They are very fairly priced and you can tell that they don’t make it a goal to profit off of customers, but rather just make a living. "The job these guys did on our floor could not have been better! They took an extremely difficult situation--a house sitting pretty much right on the dirt, with poorly constructed foundation beams--and left us with solid floors on newly framed in joists, center beams, and other creative reinforcements to our old, and poorly conceived foundation. On top of this they laid laminate, and in particular Joe Crane, Don’s best carpenter, applied his skill and high standards to meticulously install the flooring into off square corners and under trim work and fireplace mantles. I wish I could include pictures because words really can’t describe the incredible job they did. They really transformed the place. These guys are honest, hardworking--a pleasure to have in our home."
