"Since I am no longer able to do deep cleaning, a friend purchased this service for me to carry out some of the cleaning activities that I used to do Spring and Fall.There were two cleaning persons here, one being Jorge Ruiz.  They were here for six hours and cleaned efficiently, constantly,  and thoroughly performing the jobs outlined to them.  I don't know how this was possible, but my house stayed cleaner, i.e. for a much longer period of time than when my regular cleaning ladies come once a month.  <br /> They arrived on time and provided the full amount of time contracted for.  They were very pleasant and friendly and offered suggestions for cleaning e.g. using a product other than Murphy's Oil on my cabinets.  Kitchen floor was cleaner than it looked in a long time. "It went off a little bumpy.  I called Sir Grout of Washington to schedule an estimate but to my surprise, I got an email from Sir Grout of Baltimore confirming my appointment for the estimate.  I called Sir Grout of Baltimore as to why I was getting an email from them since I called the one in Washington, D.C.?  I was told that my residence is in the area that is served by Sir Grout of Baltimore.  It was a franchise and they schedule with the franchise that is serving my area.  I lived north of Rockville so I do not think I am closer to Baltimore than D.C. and the only way I could use the Washington franchise was if the owner of the franchise agreed to do the job. <br /> Whatever, Sir Grout of Baltimore got pretty good reviews on Angie's List so I kept my appointment with them.  Greg, the General Manager, arrived within the window of our appointment.  I pointed out all the dried, stained and cracked caulking around my vanities, floor of the shower and bath tub.  Greg told me that it would be an all day job and gave me an estimate with my Angie's List discount.  I told Greg that I am only off on Fridays so we need to schedule the work on a Friday.  He told me that he could schedule it next Friday a week from the date of my estimate with is the 2nd of the month.  I sent Greg an email the same day to confirm that job date.  I put down my deposit and planned on having the work done next Friday. <br /> The day came and 30 minutes after the arrival time no one has shown up or called.  I called the Sir Grout of Baltimore and was told by Katrina that I was not scheduled for the job until the 7th.  Did I misunderstood Greg?  The 2nd and the 7th sounds a bit similar but I specifically told Greg that I am only off on Fridays and the 7th is a Wednesday.  Anyway, my daughter and son said they would be home and so I went ahead left the date as is.  Greg later told me that he has no idea why it was scheduled for the 7th instead of the 2nd because he remembered that I had told him I was only off on Fridays. <br /> The day of the job, Scott came within the time window.  We went over the job again even though he already knew what needs to be done.  I asked Scott to be very careful removing the old caulking from the vanity in the master and guest bathrooms because of the wallpaper there.  I also asked Scott to make sure that he caulked the shower drain completely because we have had problems with caulking before where water was leaked onto the ceiling below.  <br /> The job went smoothly and it did took Scott all day to do the job.  He put the color seal and dried the floor with portable commercial fans before applying the clear seal.  He advised me to use a ph neutral solution on the tiled floors to clean it to avoid damaging the seal that would void the warranty.  The vanities looked great with the silicone shiny caulking, the floors around the shower, tub and all three commodes also looked great.  The inside of the shower with the new caulking and deep cleaning of the soap scum made the shower looked new.  The water stain on the tub around the drain mostly disappeared.  Scott advised me that we should discontinue using bar soap because the water from the shower spraying down on the bar soap splatters the soap scum around the shower surround and is difficult to clean afterwards. <br /> My tiled bathroom floors in both bathrooms looked white, clean and new.  Looks like I put in new tiled floor instead of just having them cleaned.  I am very pleased with the entire job and so glad that I decided to get it done.  The price was a bit high but I also understand that it is very laborious being on your hands and knees most of the time.  My husband and I would not have been able to do it let alone get up from the floor so many times.  The next time my bathrooms need to be done again, I may do some comparative shopping first.  Scott was very professional, courteous, and helpful.  He left the job clean and took all his trash with him.  I am very happy with the results. <br />"

"Tim showed up on time and did an AMAZING job. Our basement and the stairs leading to the basement were filthy. They have never been cleaned in 20 years. I read the reviews on Angie's List out this company and decided to give them a try. By the time Tim was done, our carpets looked almost new. I did take before and after photos that I will post if there is an option to do so. I would definitely hire this company again and would recommend them to my friends and family. They do a great job, they are hard working and they are very honest!"

"Shawn Baker and Ayoola Ojo did a great job cleaning the townhouse that I was putting up for sale.  There was some initial confusion about the pricing and the areas that needed to be cleaned, but it was resolved quickly.  I added the deodorizer for one of the hallways, which only cost an additional $12.  I shopped around for a reputable company that would do my entire house and Stanley Steemer was the best combination of price, quality, and dependability.  I'd definitely use them again if I need carpet cleaning. <br />"

"This was a GREAT experience! I ordered the service on-line which I found extremely convenient. I was able to get an estimate directly from the website by adding and subtracting areas to be cleaned. I could have scheduled an appointment the SAME day if I wanted, but I wasn't available. So I scheduled for 2 days out between 9-12. I received a confirmation email of my estimate, a reminder phone call 24 hours prior, and a courtesy call 1 hour before they arrived. The two guys came in, reviewed the areas to be cleaned and got right to work. They put this special seal on my door where their hose ran through to keep my air conditioning from leaking out. They even did a little extra following the hallway into my bedroom when I asked them (no extra charge). They worked very fast and were done within an hour. Upon finishing, there were foam blocks under my furniture and my carpets looked AMAZING! I was really surprised since my carpets are such a light tan (almost whitish) and they were so dirty"

"It went alright. But we ended up going with another company later on, and we liked them actually a whole lot better. Cleanup Steemer was very good as far as when they came in here and did a professional job. It’s just that like so many other companies that use steam cleaning it was quite a while drying out. We got the other company through Angie's List. We saw a bargain through them and since it had gotten good reviews, we decided we would give them a try and we were quite pleased with the way it turned out. It was a good price. I don’t think we would use Cleanup Steemer again in the future, because we found a company that we like and they seem to do a better job as far as the drying time."

"The personnel was courteous, nice, and did its job with diligence, but I think there is a problem is with their cleaning system. They put some detergent and a machine is fluffing the carpet. If the carpet is so and so, in the end it will look cleanish, but all the dust, dirt, and the newly added detergent are left in for you to beath in."
