When we embarked on a very personal new construction project - the building of a tiny house on our property for a family member - Joe was the first and only contractor that we interviewed, as we felt comfortable with his knowledge, skill, and fair pricing at our first meeting. (It helped that he also came highly recommended by a trusted friend.) Joe’s honesty and integrity were evident from the beginning, and his knowledge and skill in building and coordinating new construction shone through the project every step of the way. Joe hired specialized crews who shared the same attention to detail that he has, resulting in a solidly-built and beautifully-finished structure that not only met every need of our family member, but also added to the aesthetic of our property. New construction is a stressful and long process, but Joe walked us through every step of the way with patience, skill, creativity, and solid understanding of permits, codes, and inspections. I highly recommend JD Michael Construction."

"Daryl and his crew were very respectful and always let us know when they would be coming to our home to work. The estimate and contract we signed was right in line with what we expected the project to cost. During the demolition phase, we decided that we wanted to replace the subfloor after the old wood floor was pulled up, and Daryl and his crew performed the arduous process without an issue. After the demolition phase, the plumbing and electrical work was roughed in quickly to allow the Sheetrock work on the ceiling and walls to move ahead on time. The wood floor and custom cabinets were set ahead of schedule, including all of the cabinet crown molding and custom islands. The granite countertops were set a week after they were measured and the backsplash was tiled soon after that, with care being taken to lay out the unique accent tiles above the range to look better than we expected. Time was taken at the end of the day to make sure we had a safe place for our animals and kids to come home to even though the first floor was a construction zone. For the entire project, Daryl used the best quality materials and building techniques to ensure that we would end up with the best finished product."

"We were repeat customers with VKB (master bath remodel a couple of years ago). We redid our two spare bathrooms and a powder room this time. The pros: VKB’s construction side is the reason to choose them! They do a Jason, the project manager, did an excellent job. He kept in constant communication with us, and addressed all of our needs and emerging questions about the project. Walter, the crew leader is fantastic! He managed every aspect of the project while Jason was on vacation and even had excellent ideas and suggestions for the project. He went above and beyond. Jason and Walter are the reasons to go to VKB. The cons: The one major negative is that Sean, our designer, was completely unavailable. The fixtures he suggested, for the most part had 2-3 star reviews on most vendor’s sites. When we asked him to send us some options that were better rated, he basically told us to choose whatever we liked, he could not provide any additional help. He was barely involved in any of the selections, was very slow to respond (often taking more than 10 days to respond to emails), and did not keep on top of our selection requests. Some of our selections were not noted. The bottom line: Once we had made the selections, and all the materials were ordered, Jason and Walter took over, and from then on, it was smooth sailing! In short, the construction crew at VKB is fantastic, and they are definitely worth the money. I highly recommend VKB to my friends. 5 stars for construction crew, 1-2 stars for the design side."

"Although it took longer than anticipated by everyone, I deeply appreciate the methodical way Dimitri and his team took every single measure necessary to ensure that my home was structurally safe and sound for me and my family. Every team member and every subcontractor in his employ was kind, polite, and thorough in their jobs. I really cannot imagine what situation I would be in without Dimitri and his team. Every step of the way, they kept me informed and helped me problem solve issue after issue. They were angels on earth."

"I hired TMS to add a bedroom, laundry room and bathroom to my home. I wasn't sure exactly how it could be done on my budget, but Ted made it happen! He spent a lot of time planning and discussing the project with me, making necessary changes with my approval and explaining the process. The rooms turned out well above my expectations; their work is outstanding. They are honest and very trustworthy; I would not hesitate to hire them again and would highly recommend them! "Gus Moniodis of 4 Seasons Construction, LLC did a fantastic job on remodeling my kitchen. My house was built in the early 70’s and the kitchen needed to be gone. He did a fantastic job on clearing everything out and even worked around my appliances that I was keeping. He was very helpful on suggesting were I could purchase my cabinets and countertop at reasonable prices. Gus also did whatever I asked and even gave suggestions on some things because this was my first venture on doing anything like this. He was very professional and left my house clean, once he was finished for the day. Always on time and communicating which is very important to me. I know who I’ll be calling on my next project!!"
