"I have been using the services of Wayne Buckley @ Buckley's Chimney service for over 7 years. 
I own rental properties in both PA and DE  Wayne is my go to guy for about everything from Chimney repair to concrete work and sometimes just advice on other contractors.
I recently had him point two chimneys for me. He quoted me $1500.00 to $1700.00. The price ended up less than his lowest number. When I asked him why, he said " I over bid the Job" It looked more involved than it was. 
I have referred Buckley's many times over the years. I consider him and his boy Dannie more friends than just a Contractor.

"Fireplace was fine (OPPOSITE of what I had been told by another chimney sweep).  Oil burner side ...not so good.  Flue was heavily cracked and deteriorated.  Entire flue pieces laying at base.  Since this could be a carbon monoxide hazard and I quite often have small children in the house, I didn't think it was anything I should let go unresolved (although I was NOT anticipating spending a couple of thousand dollars at the time).
Bottom line:  New stainless steel liner put in.  Liner secured and resealed top and bottom.  New cap installed - and cracked top cement crown on chimney was replaced with a rubberized product.  Warranty on liner is transferable with the house when/if sold.
While I was not thrilled about hitting my emergency fund for something that you can't SEE, obviously it was important to get it done.  I was eligible for a Senior discount (am I the only one THRILLED to be older when a Senior discount is offered)?  You hit a certain age ... every penny saved helps.
Jon Paul was wonderful.  Not a pushy sales person.  Straight and to the point.  Explained everything in detail.  Personable.  My 4 year old great niece was with me for an overnight visit and she immediately took to him.  (Pay attention to the little ones ~ they're very good judges of character). 
I will recommend them at every opportunity and call them again if the need arises.  Five Stars from me!!!"
