Even though Anthony did not replace my driveway he did take the time to explain to me how road salt can adversely affect the concrete. He also explained how to maintain it and which preventative steps can be taken to preserve the work. It's concrete, we live in a cold climate so it's a gamble. If you are looking for any concrete work to be completed, your search should begin and end with Buttitta Contruction. You will not regret it."

"Great value and no drama - we love our new concrete driveway! In March 2019, I called RJ Concrete and asked for an estimate to replace my old asphalt driveway with concrete. I also asked if RJ could widen the driveway by 1 foot and replace the old narrow steps leading to the side door with a wider and deeper landing. Both changes ended up making a huge difference, and RJ ensured the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. To start, RJ's estimator arrived on time, double-checked my measurements, and made several helpful suggestions--for which I remain grateful. For reference, the driveway is 125 feet long and 28 feet at its widest point. Just as quoted, removal, framing, and the pour + finishing took 3 days. Reuben and his crew (of nine!) were very professional, hard working, and committed to a great result. The crew even stayed until nearly 7:00 (on a Friday night!) to finish the job. Reuben was great with the city inspector (a tough proposition in my town), and he was tactful--but firm--with a cranky neighbor who complained about the Ozinga truck that had to deliver the concrete. It has been 2 1/2 months and I still smile every time I pull into my new driveway! TLDR: I was throughly impressed with this family business! Highly recommend!"

"OK, Mike, his son and workers are all very nice and I have nothing against them personally. The price was fair and they got to work quickly. The concrete work though (California finish 15x30 patio and sidewalk) was barely passable. Crooked control joints that look like they were trowelled by a third-grader is my first complaint. Secondly and the thing that drives me nuts more is the fact that they left my property in an absolute mess and did not return to remove forms or clean up. I contacted the owner via text, and he gave me a date and a backup date they would return, but I was forced to do the cleanup myself. I had to remove forms, clean up concrete chunks all over my lawn, clean my driveways and siding of mud and splattered concrete, grade out the yard and reseed and dispose of left over materials scattered around my property. Like I said, nice people but not a nice finished product. I would not recommend."

"After having a really unprofessional experience with another co., we opted to have a consult with this co. We cld. their offices a very nice woman (Melinda) set up an appt. Peter came out within 1 day to do estimate. He was professional and answered all of our questions. Within a few days he sent us a proposal and scheduled the work. The workmen arrived early and worked for hours correcting the problem. All throughout the work these workmen were very professional, kept me up to date on what they were doing, cleaned up throughout the process and most of all took the time necessary to do the job properly. The concrete slab now looks great and is ready for the next phase of additional work we will be having done in the Spring. Because of the prior experience with another co. who initially came out to do the work and did nothing but complain that the work couldn't be done. This is spite of the salesman for the co. who said this was easy work. The workmen (2 men who had on dirty uniforms and we were the first call of the day) that came out were very unprofessional, wanted to run their dirty (foam) hoses thru my home on my expensive hardwood floors, they did not clean up and ultimately did not complete the job after being at our house for hours. The co. then cx. numerous times due to equipment issues. Finally after having such a difficult time with this co., we cx. and they refunded our deposit. Catalano's concrete was a much different experience. This co. did not make excuses, they stayed in touch with us and offered us additional information about what ultimately could be done with the concrete slab (epoxy coating). We felt we were treated as a priority, instead of waiting for a month to do the work, they scheduled within a week which was very impressive to us as homeowners. All in all we are very HAPPY with this co. and would use them again the future. Peter and his crew know exactly what they are doing and don't make promises they can't keep or fulfill. A wonderful co. to do business with."

"Coast to Coast did an excellent job on tuck pointing the office portion of our office building. The building is approx. 30 years old. The office section of our building (approx. 7K sq. ft.) had water damage to the inside walls due to the bricks and mortar etc. on the outside of the building deteriorating due to rain and snow over the years. Romen came out to our office and spent a lot of time showing us what the problems were and recommending how he would make the repairs. After getting other estimates from other companies, we decided to use Coast to Coast. Work that was done on all three sides of our office building: removed all loose and cracked mortar joints/bricks without damaging the edges of the abutting masonry. Used commercial vacuums during the grinding operation so very little dust/debris was in the air. After cleaning and flushing with water and compressed air, any joints which were cut out were than filled with a special tuck pointing mortar. They grinded out the rust between the rusting I-Beams at the front of our building and sealed them to prevent further rusting. Waterproofed all brick and mortar work to prevent future water from coming inside. To be honest, there was even more work that was done ~ all by hand. This project took about a week. It's now been almost a year, and we have had no problems with water seeping in to the building. The work on the outside of the building (mortar/bricks etc.) matches the original construction, (which is nice)."

"My wife and I could not be happier with the work and the professionalism of The Concrete Man and his people. We highly recommend them. First, I want to note that my wife and I have done a lot of work on our house over the years, including a complete three-story addition that doubled the living space of our house. We consider ourselves very experienced when it comes to hiring professionals and gauging the quality of their work. This job was straightforward. We needed a 10 foot, octagonal concrete pad placed as a foundation for a gazebo we intended to install. The concrete pad was to be located in the back corner of our property and due to a fence and a detached garage, there was no way to bring equipment back to the exact jobsite. We first met Steve who quoted the job. In spite of the COVID restrictions, he maintained the kind of friendly professionalism that you want to see in a contractor. The quote was ready for us directly, but because of unrelated work on our part, we delayed our acceptance. In fact, we lost the quote and I had to return to Angies List to try to find the contractor again. In spite of the delay, Steve remembered who we were and our project and, in fact, lined our project up with another project in the area for simplicity and efficiency. We needed the pad by a certain date, and he beat that date by a week. The team who arrived to do the work was simply outstanding. They were very attentive to our specific requirements. They were very patient in explaining our options. Finally, once they finished, they performed the single best jobsite cleanup that I have ever witnessed. My backyard was cleaner than it was before they got there. I highly recommend this company. I will hire them again."

"Went great!   <br /> I reached out to Tom Sennstrom via email for an initial budget.  His response was quick and the budget was issued in PDF format and included plenty of information for included construction scope.  After dialing in a few alternate pricing options, we agreed upon the proposed scope and work was scheduled. <br /> There was about a 3 week lag between signing the proposal and work beginning.  This allowed for the 1 1/2 week permit submittal and review. <br /> Total construction time from demolition of existing pavement to stripping concrete forms was ~5 days.  We were able to drive on the new pavement within 5 days' curing. <br />"
