"I first reached out to Bob for a quote for a full roof replacement. After exploring options I decided to instead go with a solar installer, but they told me they don't do masonry work. I reached back out to Bob with an incredibly reduced scope of work which only included removing the peak of a chimney and replacing the house's soffit to add ventilation. He was still willing to work with me and treated me with respect throughout the process. Price felt a little high but it was expected since this was entirely ladder/steep roof work. I'm assuming bricks were tossed off the side of the house which explains how the chimney portion was done in less than a day, clean up was very satisfactory. When I asked about further soffit details, Bob thoroughly explained the work involved, how the new soffit would look and be installed, and brought a sample booklet so I could see the color options. Very happy with the resulting work, only ask would have been even more intake holes."

Pete noticed that not only did my front gutter need replacement, but I had several other issues with my gutters, including missing end caps, missing gutter hangers, and the wrong nails used for my back gutter, (things missed from my home inspection when I purchased the house last year). I also opted to have leaf guards installed since my property is semi-wooded. Since then, and over the past several years, we've contracted with Mike and Suburban Construction for many projects and have always been completely satisfied and happy with the results - from completely re-siding our house with new vinyl siding, renewing our front porch with composite flooring, adding stonework trim along the bottom of front, side and back of the house, re-siding and re-shingling roofs of two sheds, installing replacement windows in kitchen and living room...probably others I'm not recalling. During this past summer's latest project, one of the guys even helped me relocate my porch wreath, that held a robin's nest, to a quieter spot before the bow window was replaced!! (I replaced the wreath at the end of the day, mama robin came back, and babies started hatching the next day!) It's those extra little things that make a difference that make these guys so special!! After all, they're family men, too, and understand those random personal things that might be important to you.
