"John did an amazing job for us.  He called me back after I left a message and after I answered a few questions he gave me a ball-park quote of $500 based on house size and said my dryer vent was included.  He scheduled me within a week.  He arrived promptly with his younger assistant and they got right to work.  His assistant removed all the duct covers and cleaned each and every one of them before they blew air into the ducts to break up the debris. John took time in our garage which is under my living room (we live in a bi-level)to mark off vent lines so if we had the ceiling insulated they would not cut our ductwork.  He also gave suggestions on how to wrap the heating ductwork to save money.  They were very professional and spent 3 hours cleaning all the ducts.  I got to see the before and after of the large suction machine. The ducts had never been cleaned as far as I know which makes it 35 years.  The dirt and debris was gross.  I am so glad to have it out. John also redid our basement hallway ducts because he didn't think it was as clean as it could be after he got up there and inspected.  And they vacuumed my house when they were done.  And the time he spent on my dryer vent went above and beyond. The vent was old and made of plastic which was not up to code. The vent was so plugged that when they tried to clean it the plastic broke. He replaced the old plastic vent with a new aluminum one at no extra charge but suggested that we get the new metal vent work done soon.  We are taking his advice.  These two do a wonderful, professional job.  You will NOT be disappointed. Use them with confidence.  Our bill actually came in under the quote at $450.  Other companies quoted WAY more than this. <br />"

"The old fireplace was rusted and had to be replaced together with the flue and the covers at the top of the chimney. The project was done on time and at the cost within the limits quoted initially. There were no cost surprises at the end of the project. They also work with a credit company that can finance the project for a good deal (no interest for 18 months at that time). The team was professional and they finished the work on time (the actual work took about two days). The cost was maybe a bit more pricey than the average, but the job was well done and without extra costs or surprises at the end."

"My experience with Grand Rapids Air Duct & Chimney Cleaning could not have been better! Wilbert did a phenomenal job and put my fears at ease! (I've had 2 other terrible experiences in 2 different states so was starting out from scratch researching and trusting a new company.) We just moved into a 45 year old home, we did a ton of remodeling and have allergies/asthma so we needed the job done with great excellence and care and those hopes were exceeded! I'm so amazed at the quality and time spent to do this job right! There was so much debris (flying through the ducts) and thick clumps of accumulated dust (seen because a couple of our basement ducts were unhooked) that he spent extra time going back and forth and cutting new holes for better removal until he and I were certain the system was clear of debris. He also cleaned up all debris and left my basement cleaner than when he started. He spent longer than the allotted time to be sure they were cleaned well, answered my many questions, showed video of the ducts when I asked, wore boot covers in the home and used the basement window to not track snow and dirt through my home and went above and beyond all my expectations. The price was great, they had a special discount this month, gave us a military discount and even without those it was a great price! I expected my allergies to be a problem the first couple days with all the agitation in the vents but was pleasantly surprised to have zero issues! I felt like a giant weight was lifted from my shoulders as I heard 45 years worth of dust, debris and allergen accumulation leaving our home. "I went through many before I found one that was really good. They do residential, commercial and upholstery. She has two guys that do upholstery and carpet cleaning, which is extra. They also power wash windows inside and outside. They also do usual things that are extra like refrigerators. When they go through the initial run-through the very first time, she has 3 girls and it is about 1 1/2-2 hours. She charges anywhere from $130-$179. My house is a 1500 square foot ranch so it is not that big and she charged me $130. Then she goes by the week. She has 3 ladies that come to my house and they get done in an hour. I pay $77. She originally came in and went through the house and saw what I wanted done. Then she gave me a price from that. I will absolutely continue to use them."

I decided to purchase both a new furnace and a/c. They just finished the installation and I am super pleased with the service. They completed the job faster than they quoted and were very careful in my house and did an excellent job of cleaning up from the installation to completion.
